Quitting smoking slightly decreases metabolism. Still worth quitting. While another child isn't ANYTHING like smoking, sometimes you have to forgo a little to do what is best for you. If you aren't looking to have another baby immediately, do what is necessary. Work harder on the weight loss. You can do it :smile:

GREAT POINT. Walking is much different than jogging/running. Don't focus on speed. Focus on that form and keeping moving!

YES!!!!! I began jogging with a partner. She said, "SLOW DOWN!" I didn't want to but realized when I finally did -- running at about 3.4mph -- that I was building crazy endurance. After a while, my time began decreasing and speed increasing. Take it slowly! Your speed will increase over time :smile:

I bought a Reebok Precision XT with chest strap on 08/08/08 for $20 on sale. I Love It. Had to change the battery in the chest strap once, I believe, maybe after a year or two. No issues, no problems. I adore that thing. Is it accurate? Who knows but when I work out with it and log my calories and eat them, I still lose…

I eat them most every day at lunch for portion control and ease. I usually go over in sodium by the end of the day due to dinner as well, but I'm still losing. (At one point, I'd lost 50 lbs and did it with frozen lunches. Back slid a bit, back to losing weight again and eating them.)

I'm on Pristiq. Been on it for about a year and a half. Didn't notice weight gain from the meds. Did notice amazing increase in my mood, enabling me to come out of a crippling and life threatening depression. :flowerforyou:
