Brussels sprouts....turns out I love them!

I'm late to the game here, since I just came back to MFP after several months away. I registered and completed the open, despite having only done one rx'd wod previously. It was scary and probably the hardest thing I've done, and SO MUCH FUN. I was dead last in my box, and close to last in the northwest region (ahead of…

I see from my previous posts that in May 2012 my total was 210, and July 2012 is was 265. As of last week, its 305! Press - 70 Squat - 105 (my first triple digit squat, woo!) Deadlift - 130 (unfortunately I had to leave early to get the kids to school, or I think I could have gone higher) one year ago it was: press - 50…

no pics easily at hand. CF for 15 months has led to 35 lbs. lost overall (25 since mfp), 2 dress sizes, waaaay less jiggle (even the stomach that has gone thru 3 pregnancies), lots more flexibility and strength, AND I went from barely being able to move without pain (back injury) to being nearly pain free, most days. I…

I did my first handstands in decades this morning! I'm over a year into crossfit, but it has taken me most of that year to build up my injured back (herniated discs and atrophied muscles) enough to actually do things RX'd. Handstands have been on the top of my "hell no" list, just the thought of flinging my body UPSIDE…

you're awesome :) my goal is to someday do 1 burpee. I can't up from the floor or jump yet (back injury) but I'm getting closer. Whenever burpees are in the wod I sub medicine ball deadlifts or some combo of ring rows and push press.

I'm a SAHM of 3 (8, 5 and 4 years old). I get up at 6, workout at the gym for an hour, then start the school routine every Monday thru Friday. I take the weekends as "rest" days. I eat clean most of the time. I do not "diet". It's been easy once I decided this is how I want to live.

my box does NOT post them so we don't get scared off and not show up. I like it that way, because I would probably do just that. I go Mon - Fri but it would be awfully easy to just skip a day I didn't like (currently I dread thrusters, if I knew about them in advance I'd sleep in!)

I have 6 days left of my Whole 30.....thus far I've lost 11.4 pounds, 10.5 inches combined from chest/waist/hips/butt/thighs, almost 2 pants sizes and 3% body fat. I weigh and measure every Monday, because seeing progress motivates me to stick with it. My husband is doing it with me and has lost 8 pounds and about 6 inches…

I loved the patch for 7 months, then I got pregnant with #1. planned for #2. 6 months later, on the pill, pregnant again with #3. Apparently birth control doesn't work well for this super fertile couple! And yes, always used correctly.

i go to the gym at 7am, before they all get up. My kids are 8, 5, and 4. They get up at 7:30 and get themselves ready for school, so when I get home everyone is ready to go and eating breakfast

In the 8 years I've been wearing my rings, I've had three pregnancies, gained 50 lbs, lost it all and then some, regained, lost again....never has my ring size changed.
