  • Hello early risers. I made it up at 5:30 this morning, out the door at 6:03. By the way, I am on vacation. Hiking the hills of Rapid City, South Dakota. At home , in Utah, I walk along a river and wetlands. I love getting up just before the sun and walking or hiking.
  • Good morning. I was up at 5:30 and out the door at 6 . Walking into the wind is not so easy, going downhill made it better. Retracing my steps going up hill with the wind at my back was harder. I love being outdoors watching the sun rise as I walk, hike, trek.:smile:
  • Good morning all. I made it up by 5:45 this morning and hiked cross country for 60 minutes. :smile: By the way, I will be 66 years old in less than a month.   • Up at 5:15 this morning; it was raining. Went back to bed and did not get up again until 6:25. Got out at 6:50 and hiked for 63 minutes. It feels good and I find myself looking forward to getting out. I will try for earlier tomorrow.:smile:

  • Your grandmother was right: once I beat whipping cream too much with a hand mixer. I got butter and buttermilk. It tasted very good. I don't remember how much time it took. I like avocado as a spread, especially on sandwiches.
  • I am sick. Coughing, runny nose, aches and pains and chilled. I have no appetite. I wish there was something besides water here. If I can find some chicken soup, I will eat it. I was under my calorie goal yesterday and probably will not reach it today.

  • Thankfully, I don't have that problem anymore. I used to get verry bad cramps; to the point of being in bed for a day. Labor wasn't bad because I was used to bad cramps. Now I have arthritis and other simptoms of ageing. Working out with my daughter today helped relieve the hip pain. I really do know how you feel.

  • So many I can't remember them all. One very memorable road trip from Salt Lake City, Utah to Cody, Wyoming. We had four adults, three kids ages 7, 9 and 11 and all our camping gear packed into a Dodge Durango. Fortunatly we picked up another vehicle in Cody, before going to camp in Yellowstone National Park. :noway: :smile:
