I've olive oil, coconut oil, and medicated lip balm on my lips... still no change. I may need more salt to retain the water keto makes us lose. I'm not on any medications. I do a lot of avocado for potassium and my multivitamin for women has it as well

Some days I take in more protein too, but you don't want that to be a habit, because the protein will store in your body as glucose if you eat too much. I always subtract my dietary fiber.

I'm just starting out I do 5% carbs 70% fat 25% protein From what I understand form others in this forum if you are stalling you need to adjust your micros, try more fat. and make sure not to over do protein since your body can use it as glucose if you eat too much of it.

Welcome! I sent you a request, I've been going at it over a month now. I don't get on scale often because It drives me nuts, it doesn't add up to how I feel and how my clothes are fitting! So keep on keepin on & you will see results for sure!

Finally tried pork rinds, melted cheese and sour cream last night, i loved it. only way i can stand pork rinds!!! my hubby looked at me like i was gross "you're eating a bowl of fat" yes, yes i was and it was delicious!! :laugh: :laugh:

that's a good idea to replace breakfast, because i usually never have time in the morning and end up grabbing turkey slices & cheese.

Every now and again you're going to have a slip up... A cheat meal would be better than a day. Seems like we get in the mentality well "I ate Pizza & Fries so now my whole day is ruined, this ice cream won't hurt either" Sometimes you just want to treat yourself, the point is to get back to LCHF PRONTO! me & pork rinds are NOT getting along well... I don't mind fresh cracklings right out the grease, but actual bagged pork rinds... ugh. I am going to try them as "nachos" that i seen on pinterest.

This is my 4th week doing LCHF I love it too! You can surely tell when you hit Keto, I have experienced the smelly urine, metal taste in mouth, and leg cramps. Just make sure you drink plenty of water, and take in more salt. there are tons of blogs and sites to give good tips.
