When we got married, we got "comfortable". "Comfortable" = Relaxing at home together. In your sweats. With some ice cream... And eventually realizing you LOOK too "comfortable" - and then you join MFP!

Crab Legs & Butter -or- Ruffles Sour Cream & Onion Chips + Dip -or- PEANUT BUTTER. LOVE IT!

Dress #1 looks great! (I LOVE leopard!) It's fun - but still conservative enough for a work function.

My car's name is "The Tank"! No laughing - it's a 2000 Hyundai Accent. I've done nothing but put gas and oil in it for over a decade. It's seen better days... Starting to get a little rust here and there... But, it's outlasted some of my friends' NICE cars - BMWs, Lexuses, etc... It gets me where I need to go - and it…

Never mess with a mom and her baby!!!!! :-)

Graduated in 1995 at 150 (I thought I was HUGE!) - but looking back at old pics, I'd kill to have those curves again! Started MFP at 217, currently at 200....
-
We're already MFP friends - but I read your post and saw how similar our goals are!!! I started out 217, got down below 200 and then the holidays hit - I gained a bit... grrr.... But, I'm right with you on losing 50 this year! Here's to a Happy New Year! We can do it!

Disney World!!!

Your look beautiful!!! You're "curvy"! Enjoy your wedding prep and wedding day!!! That's all so much fun! Trying on those dresses made me feel like a princess!!! Now... just an old married lady...! You're gorgeous! :-)
-
You should be proud! You're beautiful! I applaud you putting your pics online! That takes guts!

OMG. Armani Black. It's delicious.

I believe every household should have a (legal) gun for safety/protection. They're safe as long as they don't fall into the wrong hands.

haha! You have "nummies" - my family has "the egg thing" - yes, that's what we call it. I make a breakfast quiche every year. It's simple - eggs, sausage, cheese.... Prepared the day before, baked Christmas Morning - SO convenient! Served with Cinnamon muffins! MMmmm!!!!

Dirty Dancing and The Goonies!

Welcome! I can always use a little motivation, too! Sending you a request!

Bathroom, hands down. I have an 8 year old son... His aim has improved CONSIDERABLY over the years, but.......

Are you nuts? Yes - you're a beautiful woman! If you learn to 'love yourself' as you are RIGHT NOW, making changes (physically, emotionally, etc...) will come easy. Think positive darlin', and good things will come your way!
-
haha! I just pulled mine out again yesterday! It's great to get you up and off of the couch - but if you're looking for a good "burn" (calories), this isn't the tool to get there. I wore my HRM and played for a half-hour just to see if it was a "workout". I was barely "in the zone". But, if you're looking for something to…

Carnegie here!!! 10 minutes from The Rivers (casino)!! haha!

I live in Carnegie and work in Coraopolis. hmmm... what's new??? New Wal-Mart supposed to go in where the Sherwin Williams was on University Blvd... You were looking for something more exciting, huh??? Whatcha wanna know!?!

I have two "bests": When my son is proud of something he did - I feel proud, too! My second is completely selfish - when someone pays me a compliment on how I look. (When I was young, I got a bunch of compliments - and it made me feel great! Now, that I'm a bit older, and heavier - compliments are rare... but memorable!)…
-
With the holidays coming, "Christmas Shoes" will play a million times! It makes me so sad - I have to turn down the radio!
-
You are a beautiful woman! Keep up the good work!
-
Hi, I'm going to keep an eye on your responses. My current and goal weights are similar to yours and I'm running into the same issue - I'm a walker and looking for something "new".
-
Unfortunately... what I'm SUPPOSED to do and what I actually DO end up being two different things... According to MFP and my doc, I should eat about 1,200 calories/day and exercise 1/2 hour 5 days a week. I'm 5'4", currently 198lbs. I lost 19lbs. so far - about 40-50 to go!
-
Inspiring? Absolutely! Keep up the great work!

I'm 'Krysti' - I have yet to met another 'Krysti' that spells it like me. I came SO close to being named 'Farrah' - my dad had a thing for Farrah Fawcett when I was born...!

Good suggestion! I'd pack it! I'm so much more likely to "stay in" at lunchtime if I pack something that sounds tasty - and it's convenient!

I'm in Pittsburgh, PA. I was a member of LA Fitness a few years ago. It was about $30/month. Great choice of machines, classes, etc. I think ANY 'gym' is better than NO 'gym' - go for it!

Ugh...! I get the nighttime munchies, too! I try NOT to snack at night. Period. Even if I try to have a healthy snack - it ends with a junk-food-follow-up! My advice (and also my daily battle): Try to stay out of the kitchen after dinner! Good luck!
