yummier than actual spaghetti I think :o) And as said above, brilliant on salads. I got a spaghetti-fier for about €7 (under $10) so it's not a huge investment but it's very fun!

It's the only fat that I can use a teeny-tiny amount of and still make awesome pancakes (though obviously decent pans also help there). It works well for vegan baking when you want solid fats, and it's also decent for lip balm/exfoliators. :)

I'm 183cm (have been since i was 14) and although my "ideal" weight is 65kg, I disagree with that number. I find I feel chunky when over 80kg and have only reached under 70kg once, by being very ill.... I think the actual ideal is somewhere in the early 70s... we'll see, I guess!

I'm 183cm and weigh 78kg. That puts my dress size around a DE38 (US8?) My highest ever weight was close to 90kg and I felt huge there. I would like to be in the early 70s... the UK health system says we "should" be between 68 and 80kg. But of course personal preference and comfort are important. The weight fluctuation…

I dunno, I get just as stinky with or without it. But then I wash my body and it's all okay again. Personally (in answer with op question) I think body hair is kinda nice ;o) it's grown up and it's animal-y. Maybe it smells slightly, but hey baby, we got a shower!
-
some of these responses...... seriously? how much hair do you think we are even ABLE to grow? And since when does not shaving imply not showering?

lifelong veggie, ex-vegan, cooking and baking fan here :o) My diary isn't always a good example to follow but it's open to friends

fancy teas! I have a cupboard devoted to them. They're kind of the new chocolate ;o)

I wobble around the higher end of healthy weight (don't actually own scales, go by dress size). But I know that technically not being overweight isn't quite enough.... I want to see photos with me in and not feel weird about being the tall chubby girl! Always happy to find to new friends and share support/motivation!

I love spinach so I sometimes make this for breakfast: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/easy-spinach-souffle/ looks awesome!
-
my favourite breakfast is scrambled eggs with spinach or avocado! It used to be scrambled egg with croissant, but I made the switch and think the veggie versions are probably even yummier. Have you seen recipes for chia seed "pudding"/porridge? depending on what you add, that can be a great protein-based sweet option.

i can vouch for the banana idea! add a little (even just 0.5tsp) cocoa and its a fruity hot chocolate :o)

Super simple winter treat: 1 cup milk (dairy or nut or soy, whatever you like most), 1 medium banana (frozen or raw), 1 tsp honey and 0.5 tsp cinnamon. Other additions work well too of course. Personally love a little bit of cardamom or grated coconut. PS matcha-mango sounds awesome!

maybe don't think of it as a cheat, just a day when you happen to eat a little more. I try to stick to around 1500 per day, but I KNOW that roughly once a week I will reach 2000-2500, because I want to share a tub of ben and jerry with my sweetie, or drink six beers at a party. But I don't worry about it or consider my…

If you're not won over by the taste, I find mixing in a little pineapple juice is yummy. Okobay does an ice-lolly of coconut water and pineapple juice that some organic markets sell, its also awesome! http://www.okobay.com/product/coconut-water-ice-pineapple/ on the health front, it does feel very refreshing and hydrating.…

I quite often pack my work lunch into two or three smaller boxes, eat the different parts throughout the day. It also helps to avoid the post-lunch sleepy feeling. Buying a big bag of small apples or oranges seems to work for a few people I know too. Sugary, but no starbucks!

My partner is always in super-good, strong shape and would never diet with me. Which I understand! We live together, but he works away a lot. I've noticed that I always eat and work out best when he's not around. He says I should "be careful" not to get "too skinny", lose my curves, etc and seems to think food-diarying…

As said above: big pots of veggie curry, bean chilli, soup.... are a good way to go. Me and my flatmate in uni lived on that stuff, and we were pretty healthy :o) We got a lot of the "fancy" stuff like chickpeas, tofu and spices from the indian supermarket... knowing your local shops is always very handy :o) another way to…

I very much agree! Even a super budget machine (such as a mini one, could be €30 or so) can be enough to pull in the hips and waists of your clothes and give them a new life. Tip from experience: If a dress has got too big, shortening it slightly usually improves the fit, and only takes about 10 minutes. It can even be…

hey! I'm a life-long veggie, and was vegan for years... then started eating cheese again and gained a ton of weight. Shocker! So I'm thinking I should back to plants only for a while too. I don't take supplements, don't have any deficiencies and am relatively active (but no way an athlete)... happy to do recipe…
