  • You need to forget about the last 2 months and start over. It sucks but you got to do it. Take it day by day but don't give up. You need to find a workout you'll enjoy doing and a food plan that works for you. You also need to be able to treat yourself and not feel guilty about it but limit it to one meal. Not a full day,…
  • It's hard to say without knowing what it is your doing for exercise. Personally I try to incorporate both weight training and cardio. I prefer weight training but I know cardio is important too. I workout at home and find that just following a dvd program the easiest for me. The less I have to think about what to do the…
  • I am 40 and 5'4" and I currently weigh 128lbs. When I first started working out almost 4 years ago I weighed 130lbs but was flabby! I felt fat. I lost the weight and at one point was down to 117lbs. That was way to too thin for me. I started working out with weights (at home) and I put on weight but in muscle! I still wear…
  • I workout from home too and my first program that dealt with weight training was LesMills Pump. Great program and really got me into working out with weights. Since then I have also done Crossfit but just found it hard to get to the gym so my home gym is set up for Crossfit but I still mostly do my home dvd's. My current…
  • I would not buy from that site. True Beachbody programs can only be bought through Beachbody. I know you can find them on Amazon etc. But they are likely copies or used and you have no guarantee of the product. When you buy through Beachbody it's guaranteed. I recently bought Turbo Fire and one DVD was scratched and they…
  • You look amazing! Congrats!

  • I am doing Turbo Fire now but I've also done Brazil Butt lift, Slim in 6, 10 minute trainer, and the ab workouts from P90x and Insanity! All by Beachbody. I love them all!
  • I like Shakeology. It's more than just a protein shake. Its packed full of vitamins and your daily servings of fruits and veggies! It tastes amazing when you mix it with almond milk and peanut butter!! Yummy!!
  • Check out the links, both give great information! Maybe they can help you out!! Sounds like you're doing all the right things but you may just need to tweak your calories a bit. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/wbond/view/eat-more-lose-more-really-129327…
  • I'm 5'4", started at 130 which I know is not a bad weight for our height but I carried the weight I had in my chest and belly. I've lost 10lbs and I am happy at 120. I am currently working on toning up and getting rid of the remaining belly pooch I have (almost gone) while keep my weight around 120.
  • I am from Washington state too but currently live in SC. Welcome to MFP! It's a great place for support and motivation!!
  • You look awesome Georgia!! All that hard work is paying off! I know you've been injured and not able to workout but you're still doing great! You earned it girl! Proudly wear that 2 piece at the beach!!
  • I'm 5'4", I was at 130 and I am now at 120. I carried my weight in my chest and belly from having 2 kids. I am happy now back at what I weighed prior to having kids. I will not go below 120. I've weighed less before and everyone always thought I looked sick. I am working on toning up now. The 10lbs I lost was mostly in my…
  • I went thru the same thing. I only had 10lbs I wanted to lose and the first 8 dropped fast but then nothing. My husband told me to eat more which freaked me out, but I did anyways. I increased my calories from 1200 to 1400 and the last 2 lbs came off. I recently started doing the Turbo Fire dvd's and I knew I needed to…

  • Have you signed up for your free membership with Beachbody? If you have(which you probably did since you have the dvd's) Go to your account and click on the link for the Supergym. You can auto schedule for your program and there should be an option for the classic routine. Then you can check out the schedule.
  • Welcome!!
  • You probably need to eat more. If you're burning say 500 calories and only eat 1200 calories you're only giving your body 700 calories to fuel it with. That is not enough and your body will go into starvation mode. You need to eat back the calories burned to at least the point of giving your body 1200 calories for women…
  • Welcome back!! You can do this! I workout from home with the Turbo Fire DVD's...love it!!
