  • If you have your activity level close to the right place you probably shouldn't go over unless it's a super heavy day. I used to always have to add 200 cals to the day that I had high burns which was just a pain so I just added an extra 200 to it everyday and all is good. I used to burn 600 every exercise day just at the…
  • Awesome stuff!
  • Thanks for sharing your story, I love your user pic, so cute and fluffy :)
  • Fantastic idea, those names do stick with us eh and we are the only ones to kick them in the *kitten*.
  • I'm so pleased for you. I think I may hAve seen some of your first posts but did you have a different user name. Anyway congrats. My weight didn't change for 18months but the important stuff def did. All the best for the rest of your journey...you rock!!!!
  • I'm not sure everyone will agree but for me I have about 1 litre of trim milk a day in my shakes and my mochas, whole grain bread, lots of fruit. Works for me. The milk helps me keep my protein on target. Hasn't stopped my fat loss. Just my 2cents.
  • http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/power-granola-10000001054879/ I made this but didn't need the oil and I left out cranberries &flaxseed it was super nice. About 1/3 cup was 166 cals R
  • Me too but I couldn't go low carb to save myself. My scales stay the same but fat and cms drop. A lot of my carbs are fruit and the only change I've really made is I don't eat white bread except for tonight when I make homemade focaccia....mmmm. But the more I concentrate on protein my carbs drop away a bit. Feel free to…
  • Fan-flippin-tastic!!! Woop woop!
  • I feel you pain with the rowing then snatches. My trainer makes me row then run to medicine balls for what I can only call explosive slam/ squats. 4 reps of that with no breaks and I'm about ready to puke. Looks like things can only get better. Well done and I bet you felt great.:flowerforyou:
  • Have you put your details through the scooby calorie calculator to get a daily calorie intake. On emtwl most of us don't us the mfp system we use scooby. You don't have to eat back daily exercise calories, you end up eating consistently the same amout everyday. It doesn't matter if you exercise or not as it's taken into…
  • Mmmm I put this into scooby 48 y female 160 lb 67inches( I had to convert but I think it's right) Moderate activity 15%cut which is what is recommended I got Bmr 1433 Tdee 2222 15% cut 1888 So you would eat 1888 everyday BUT if your burn got your net under bmr, so if you burned more than 455 cals in exercise in a day then…
  • I think it does. I've seriously cut back on lollies as I have a massive sweet tooth. A had a few with my kids during a movie night and afterwards I felt like I had a hangover and struggled to sleep. Massive sugar high, and previously I could easily have had more with no probs. I think our tastes change when you cut "crap"…
  • Add me too :). Good luck on your journey
  • I was on 23 too and mostly ate under. They could never give me a good figure of what to eat back due to my fitness, now i know it was proably double my daily allowance. What gets me now is the majority of my ex-group were on the same amount of points. We were all so different in age weight etc. I was at goal(18mths later…
  • Great results, well done:flowerforyou:
  • Oh yeah it get that one!!! I had to do an online survey the other day about them......never left me any space to say why I wasn't a member anymore ......I only started it because I thought they would have it at the end....grrrrrr. I know I'm eating about 1000 cals a day more and losing everywhere!! We used to get stickers…
  • Love it!!!!!!!
  • Fantastic job, definitely see your hard work paying off:flowerforyou:
  • TOM?????......lol
  • Huge welcome Lola, you will find extremely supportive friends here. I'm hoping someone who has travelled your road will be able to guide you through this part. Rach:flowerforyou:
  • Hi, I sent you a request too :flowerforyou:
  • I've done it twice on non workout days and got 2350 and I think 2380. My Tdee at moderate is 2300 and at active with 10%cut is 2300 too. But I agree at night is a pain;). Nothing to lose.
  • Add me in if you like, sometimes it's a time zone thing when you don't get a reply. I get my most newsfeeds when I wake up:flowerforyou:
  • A few years ago I culled everything out with anything artificial in it so my kids are used to clean eating I guess ...... My 12 year old even reads the labels. I cook from scratch, we haven't had takeaways in over 2 months probably more. But we are lucky in the sense ( close your eyes vegetarians) we eat our own…
  • Hey friend, I'm sure you saw my freak out post this week and I can relate. I was getting hungry after eating at tdee for 1 week, couldn't go back to my cut(there was only about 200 cal diff). Well if I did I would have been going against everything I believe is right with eating this way. Also I would be going against any…
  • This is the only forum I've ever joined in on.... Anywhere!! Fantastic to hang with like minded people on the same journey.:flowerforyou:
  • Just back from the gym with two nsv for me. 33kg back squat(no machine) 4 sets of 12, 30 kg dead lifts 4 sets of 12. My trainer doesn't let me get away with wrong form and apparently I was gold!! Thighs parallel with heavy squats...very happy and sure I'll feel them in the morning....... Off for protein shake now:drinker:
  • Got to a site called scoobysworkshop.com and input your numbers in the calorie calculator for a start. See how you go with that then pop back here. We are all eating more than the conventional low cal diets and are very supportive. I hope to see you soon :)
  • Duh me.... I see a trainer at my gym once a week. He does tape measurements and caliper fat testing once a month usually. The other methods were way off for me. For example last month my thigh measurement didn't go down but I lost 3.5mm in fat, which wouldn't show as a decrease if I was measuring in cms only. He measures,…
