I'M NOT PROFESSIONAL But how about instead of counting the calories, have 5 meals a day, and make the portions bigger. She doesn't have to eat junk food, but just making her portions bigger than normal and drinking more juice and stuff like that? That's what I'd do.

It's fine. Honestly. We all need a so called reward day. All I'd do is instead of having a reward once a week, just go a week without a reward more than, let's say 400 cals. It shouldn't make too much an impact, and everydays a new day.
