  • Try a google search.
  • Wow, there are some pretty horrible ones here.... I can't think of anything now, but I'm sure I will later, and I want to keep reading what everyone else posts!
  • I'm totally in, sounds like good motivation!
  • I love using Flatout breads for pizza crusts! Cheese and veggies, or buffalo chicken with a little feta, anyone have any other good ideas?
  • I use a similar thing (5k101), I just liked the podcasts for that one better. I think it's just a personal preference if you're downloading a podcast or an app -- what voice/music do you want to listen to while you're running?
  • When I ordered my bridesmaid dress a few weeks ago, I ordered the size 8 even though it was a little bit tight -- that's my motivation! Luckily it's a halter top that ties behind the neck, so I can adjust that to whatever I need and I won't need to hike it up all night!
  • I'm the same way. I don't like "too much" muscle
  • I guess I've never thought about it. I want my weigh-ins to be as accurate as possible, so I don't really bother with any sort of fasting or special eating the night/day before, I just eat like a "regular" day.
  • I have wide hips, smaller waist, big thighs, and short stubby legs. Nothing ever fits "well"!

  • I think recipes would be a good way to go, especially if you're planning on making the same smoothie on more than one occasion!
  • So many options! I'm day-glo white if I don't get out in the sun a little, so I think I need to find a decent self tanner too....
  • I'm doing the same one!
  • There are so many tasty ideas in here, I think I'll need to eat wraps for lunch or dinner every day this week!
  • I am signed up to do a Warrior Dash in September. Tough Mudder is sort of the next level for me, maybe by next year but I know that I'm not in that good of shape yet! Having the Warrior Dash coming up gives me a lot of motivation to work out, plus I have a friend and her will-be husband doing it with me, so I have friends…
  • I used to play Evony as well, although I gave up after getting frustrated with all the people that could afford to put lots of "real" money into it, which I couldn't do.

  • That was one of the first "newer" games I started playing when I really got into playing games (I took a long hiatus between SNES/Sega Genesis and the newer stuff! Although I played a lot of Halo/Halo 2 in the first few years of college.

  • Ooh me! I play mostly RPGs on the 360. The Fallout and Fable series are my favorites, but I like most things other than sports games. I have a DS that doesn't get used much anymore, and PS3 that I occasionally play on, but it's mostly the 360.

  • A recipe I got from a friend -- she said it makes about 3-4 meals for her and her fiance, so you could cut the recipe in half if needed. I haven't tried it yet, but am hoping to soon. Butternut and Quinoa Soup Prep 20 Minutes Cook 20 Minutes 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1 yellow onion, chopped 4 cups peeled, seeded, cubed butternut…
  • For me, logging exercise and food, even when I'm feeling lazy, has been a great motivation. Before I was using MFP I wasn't really aware of what I was putting in my body, but now that I can "see" it, I know why I was gaining weight! I've only been at this for about 2 or so weeks, but that's longer than I've stuck with most…
  • I have a similarly busy schedule (working about 65 hours a week), and I have a few things that I do that help, although sometimes I end up buying food at one of my works (Barnes & Noble cafe, super unhealthy!). Another poster mentioned this already, but cook up a full package or two of chicken all at once and use it…
  • Anyone out there my twin? SW: 148 CW: 144 GW: 120-125 Height: 5'2" Age: 24 Female
  • I am NOT going to let other people's negativity get me down anymore...

  • I eat ground turkey over ground beef for health reasons (I'm not supposed to have a lot of red meat), but I like the flavor better anyway usually.
  • When I find something that I want to eat but know it's pretty much horrible for me, I enter the calories in first so I can 'see' what its going to do to my calories for the day. That's usually enough to make me not want to eat as much.
  • There are many many posts on this, type in "eating back your exercise calories" in the search to read everyone's opinions. I am in the school that you should try to eat at least most of them back, so you don't put your body into starvation mode, which will actually cause you to lose slower.
  • Monday DOES look like a good day to start! Accountability buddies?

  • Try some calories dense foods like peanut butter, some nuts, or some flaxseed oil. Pasta is pretty high in calories too. Just make sure you're getting enough to keep your body fueled during the long run! If you can't eat back all of your exercise calories here and there, it's fine.
