You can do this. Don't give up. Just keep at it. If you stick to it, it will work and there are a lot of people on MFP who can help you get there.

I find when I take a week off, I am able to get back in the game mentally and physically stronger and usually have great results. Routine and habits are important but so is motivation and being happy.

I am in the same boat. I find that I can fit a glass of wine into my calories but then sabotage myself with unhealthy snacking or having one glass turn into two. For now, I am just going to prioritize my goals over the relaxation of a glass of wine. Good luck.

So this last week was tough. I was sick and did not go to the gym once. Today I met with my personal trainer and of course it was my 1 month check in for measurements and all were down. Overall, I have lost 2% of body fat. After measurements, I put in a great workout and ate yummy home cooked food. Every day is a fresh…

I am from Oregon as well but currently live in Nevada. We are hoping to move back ASAP. There's no place like home. Even Maui couldn't compete with Oregon in our hearts.

So this week has been tough. I have been sick for the first time since starting my weight loss journey and it took its toll. I have decided not to beat myself up about it. I haven't worked out and am using this week as a reset week. I am going to hit the gym and get back in the swing of things next week. No weight loss…

I recently started making my own homemade tortillas with masa corn flour. I only add a pinch of salt to an entire batch of tortillas and the tortillas are amazing. I know exactly what I am consuming.

Today was a good day. Since upping my calories from 1200 to 1400 I have had more energy. I had enough energy today to hit the gym really hard. I gave it my all and feel great. Goals for this weekend: Listen to my body Yoga yoga yoga Try to stick to my meal schedule (5 or 6 small meals) Have fun with my family

I felt the same way this week. Just run down. So...I changed my goals to a more realistic 1lb a week loss and upped my calorie intake to see if I was tired from not eating enough. I am also giving myself more rest. Just trying to listen to my body and not let it get me down. Hope next week is better for you.

Nice work. Very inspiring!

So I admit to being on MFP a lot. I learn so much from everyone. Because of MFP, today I adjusted my goal settings to match the goals I put on the challenge. I am aiming for a lb a week for the challenge. I appreciate everyone on MFP and hope to learn from and support everyone in the group. Good luck with day 3.

Thanks for starting this Christine. My name is Amy. I currently reside in Nevada but Oregon is home. I feel best when I am fit and active. My goal is to lose 15lbs by the end of the challenge. I am planning on achieving my goal by exercising, eating healthy and calculating calories and macros for the first time. I love the…

Every trainer at my gym has told me its healthy to eat a small snack before going to bed. The only thing one trainer warned me was to not eat too many carbs because it would not burn or sustain enough through the night.

The truth is I go back and forth about my confidence. On the one hand I really like and believe in myself, on the other hand, I still haven't taken a before pick. I guess I just don't want to obsess too much and yet I find myself on MFP all the time. Even posting this I am waffling. Looks like I need to find a healthy…

The easiest salad dressing I have ever made is store bought or homemade hummus (whatever kind you like) mixed with a little water and the vinegar of your choice. You play with different amounts until you get the consistency and flavor you like. The dressing is creamy and super delicious.

Congratulations. Accomplishing a goal is one of the best feelings in the world. Whether you post or not, I am glad MFP helped you on your way :)

What she said  You cannot control other people, their reactions, their illnesses. You can only control yourself, your journey, your reaction. You know the hard work you have put into this. Be proud of your accomplishments.

Truly an inspiration! Congratulations on the hard work paying off.

Looks like you are doing awesome. I just started working with a personal trainer and found out that I was working out too hard, undereating and eating at the wrong times of day. I am finding success by forcing myself to eat 5-6 times a day. By eating small meals, I really eat consciously and don't graze. Feeling great.
-
Congratulations. You look amazing. I agree that clean eating affects our skin. I have also noticed that drinking more water helps. Keep up the hard work.

I have to force myself to eat in the mornings. I find I just don't wake up hungry. However, I know that my body needs to eat and that my metabolism will work better if I stay on track with 5 or 6 small meals a day. I am still trying out different breakfast ideas to see what works for me. If anyone has any great suggestions…
