Well, honestly a simple uninterested "no thank you" seems to do the trick. My facial expression makes sure the message is received. Now for those persistent souls, I just take a piece and throw in the trash two seconds later. Not in front of them of course. I'm not that mean.

Today, I walked 8.5 miles so that gives me a total of 59.2 miles.

Regardless of one's fitness levels, you shouldn't judge their workout or perceived level of exertion. Not every person has the same mindset when it comes to fitness and that's fine.

I went to the gym and actually exercised today. The past two days it was so cold in the gym, I just couldn't make myself do anything.... No really I was just lazy. I actually went to the gym and played around on my phone for two days since no one else was there. I spent an hour hyping/warming myself up for barbell squats…

My wrist is 6.75 inches and I am 5'6. Does this mean my ultimate goal weight should be higher than 125ish lbs? Maybe 150 lbs?

Well, I walk on the treadmill almost every day for at least 5 miles.

Yesterday, I walked 8.5 miles, so that's a total of 50.7 miles. Everyone's doing great. I can't believe we're almost halfway through February.

Sometimes, when I want a midnight snack... or meal, I log it as the next day which is nothing new. I've been doing this since the beginning, the difference now is that some time around noon or so the next day that midnight snack/meal time travels to yesterday's food log so that I can have more food on the present day.

The night is still young, but so far I'm still in a deficit. I had somewhat of a controlled carb binge, but so far... so good.

I think I'm the only one who says you should go to the gym. I feel like if you're even debating it that strongly, then you're probably in decent enough condition to workout. I don't really care about sick people at the gym or the possibility that they'll make others sick, but I may be a bit desensitized since I'm always…

Thanks gruffdris and jessian2014. I have a personal goal of walking 5 miles *most* days. Everyone's so encouraging and positive here. I really appreciate it. Walked 6 miles today, so that's 42.2 walking miles. I may try using the stationary bike again. I just feel like I can never get comfortable enough to use it for long…

Every time I go to the gym I feel ridiculous. Especially when lifting. Even if it's just walking on the treadmill. I feel like everyone's looking at the extremely sweaty, fat woman who's panting at walking 3 mph. I have no balance when it comes to doing barbell squats. The last time I did squats I fell backwards and hit my…

Well. If I'm focusing on calories I would walk 5 miles at 3 mph, 10% incline-- this gives me about 1300 calories (treadmill calorie reading)-- as one workout. Then I would do something similar again later that day until I reach the number of calories I want. Which is the total cut in half. So 2000 calories is documented as…

Sticking out like a sore thumb. I am a fat person who watches fat people all the time. I can't help it. Obesity disgusts ( a little too strong of a word) me. I am obese so I am disgusted by my size. So I guess the worst part about being fat is being disgusted by my own image. No good can come from decades of obesity, we…

I do a lot of cardio. Have been doing so for about six months and I haven't noticed any issues. For example, I would burn a calorie reading total of about 1300- 2200 calories a day on the treadmill. Sometimes I would focus on just miles (10 miles a day), sometimes speed, sometimes just burning calories.

No. I'm slow too. I couldn't keep up with billy blanks' tapes..

Well I don't know. Maybe 20 minutes.

I just say accept them. And as someone who's always had big calves I disagree with the statement that no one is looking at your calves. Over the years I've received a good amount of comments on having big legs. So many people thought I was somewhat athletic in high school/college that I just started lying and said I was.…

Coffee wakes me up after work so that I can hit the gym. I usually drink black iced coffee or hot coffee with sugar free flavoring.

Good to see you again, too, jeanniewes. Happy walking! 02.01: Walked 8 miles. 02.02: Walked 5 miles.

02.02: Walked for about 96 minutes.

No. As someone who has always liked the sciences and maths, I like using my scale and I like converting from ounces to grams and such. I just don't like how long it takes to log food, especially if your diet doesn't have staple foods.
