Make sure you have decent socks. I try to buy socks with the least amount of cotton in them. It really does make the difference. Plus, everyone else is right... definitely go to a running store and get fitted for a proper pair of running shoes. Happy Running:smile:

I turn mine off after I stretch and my HR returns to normal. It's nice to burn those extra calories:smile:

I LOVE Coke Zero. I usually allow myself 1 a day. However, what I really love about it is the carbonation. So, I drink flavored, carbonated water. It so good!!! No calories or sodium. That's how I do it. Good Luck!

Tea is a great way to get in your water. Just make sure it is decaffeinated.

I have always liked The Firm, but you have to buy weights to go with it. It was one of the best workouts for me.

I have the Polar F6 with a chest strap. It's about as accurate as you can get with a chest strap in my opinion. It was about $109. Actually, my doctor told me about the Body Bugg, I believe it's called. It is the most accurate, but its about $200.

That's great!!! I love to eat out. It means no cooking, but you have to be so careful. I don't know if you have the book, but The Calorie King Calorie Fat & Carbohydrate Counter is awesome. Especially for when you want to go out.

The last place most women lose weight is in the stomach area. I would start taking your measurements every couple of weeks. Keep going! You're doing great!

For Breakfast: English muffin - 100 with an egg on top and a piece of 2% cheese. I'll usually add some fruit or a small bowl of cereal. For Lunch: I love having a turkey sandwich on light bread. Maybe some all Natural popchips and fruit.

I think you should do what is best for you. For example, I weigh myself everyday. It keeps me motivated. I say once a week is preferable, not every two weeks. It really is a matter of preference.

Great idea! Maybe I'll start Crocheting again :) I wasn't hungry last night, but I knew I needed to eat more calories. Of course once i started eating it didn't stop. I should have never opened my mouth. Good Idea!

I know how you feel. I started really exercising hard and I myself have gained 3 lbs overnight as well. I feel bloated too, and thought why am I even trying. BUT, lets not give up! We can do this! I bet we'll lose it over the weekend :)
