I am on a keto diet 30 g carbs I take magnesium in the evening and drink boullian for sodium. Do you think it could be electrolytes? Also potassium can help but I don't add that

I am doing keto mainly to control blood sugar, type 2 diabetic. You just need to be in a deficit to lose weight. I check my ketones with a meter, which is not necessary, but I can go over 20 g carbs, I try to stay under 30g, it varies by individual.that bacon cheese burger is sounding good.

Can your Dr recommend a dietitian? Also the American diabetes association has a website with info. I cut way back on carbs but am followed by a Dr. It is great you want to take care of yourself

That trainer does not sound very good. No wonder you have trouble with motivation. I believe you can do it. You already are. Don’t let that bad advice deter you. I am stalled but I know once I get past this slump I can get there.

Seeing results. If the scale is moving it helps. It isn’t right now so I have to motivate myself. Some people find motivation in groups. There are challenges or other types.

I use paper plates in the microwave because it makes regular plates too hot. I sometimes will use them for snacks but not dinner. I use disposable cutlery with my lunch at work. I could bring silverware. I have not watched that show but if they are not very mobile washing dishes might be an issue.

That sounds like a good plan. With nuts I weigh out a single portion instead of eating straight out of container. I learned a lot about portion sizes by logging food.

Is there a reason to cut back on sugar? Some fruits have less sugar. Berries have fiber. I don’t eat much sugar but I do allow myself a small portion of berries.

I take 30 mg abilify. It is supposed to be weight neutral. I think it may make me a little hungrier, but not like zyprexa or depakote. I am overweight but I would be hard pressed to blame it on abilify. And, my stability is worth it.
