Hello all ... thanks for posting and inspiring me! I am 61, mother and grandmother, wife and librarian. Not quite retired, but have had a health related reality check, so am working toward that curve in my life’s path. I am a returnee, and really like Myfitpal and it’s communities. I have lost over 35 lbs towards my 100…

Been lurking and I think I need to engage with like minded folks. Thanx for the open talk. My weight has creeping up and up and even recognizing I have lots to loose, like 100 lbs. is hard. But I do, so here I am and looking for a first goal ... again! I did fit pal a few years ago and it was helpful, so back I come. I…

After reading this, I feel like this might be the place for me. I've known my eating is emotional, I kind of know my triggers to binge, but it's accepting what it is. An addiction. Stay the course and ask yourself lots of questions to see what the weak…

It's humbling to think how we thought we were eating "okay" enough. tracking is really important at the beginning especially as we change the mindset as well as the food habits. Bravo, you!!! Vow always to be honest with yourself about food portions and content from here on in, you got this :)

Good choice to come to MFP! Being accountable in some way is a really good start. I look forward to logging my food and exercise on the site, being honest about food, weight and state of mind all matters. see you out here!

really getting a lot out of other top 5 tips, Thanx for the great motivations! 1) Find the thing that helps you do the exercises ... my thing is music. I really like to make a playlist that keeps me moving with the beat and singing in my head so I don't hear myself moan! 2) I plan my food for the day and have it ready as…
