Breakfast burrito: scrambled egg in the microwave wrapped in a tortilla.

Run a 5K (I've signed up for the Run for the Cure Sept. 30) Definitely eliminate the jiggly bits. Eliminate the muffin top: I'm 40 lbs lighter than when my last baby was born (I had actually gotten down to 50 lbs lighter...but some crept back on), but I still have a fricking muffin top.

Book-Bill. TV-Bill is okay. He was hotter in my head. lol. If we're talking TV, then I think as an overall package of personality combined with looks and physique, I'd have to go with Sam.

Chocolate, cheese and bread. Since it's only 3, I guess I would have to give up my coffee.

^^ This! Right from the start, it is our job as parents to provide WHAT they eat, their job to choose the amount. So if 2 out of 3 meals you have control/input, I would say don't stress it. My 6 1/2 year old son is "underweight" by definition but eats 3 solid meals and many snacks during the day. It's just the way he is,…

OP: Are you in the US? I'm in Canada but close to the border, so one of the last times my husband went to the States to do groceries I asked him to pick up some cottage cheese because dairy products are so much cheaper. It was the most vile, disgusting stuff I have ever tasted! So salty!! *barf* Canadian cottage cheese has…

About a month ago, I bought some Levis for the first time since, oh, probably high school! They are size 29! I think they've changed the sizing since my high school days (vanity sizing!) because I still have a 33" waist but the jeans fit... Back in high school, I had a 29" waist and wore 29s. Oh well, I'll take it!

I remember reading another post where the person described how they lost weight as "melting" and that's kind of how mine went: face/neck, boobs, waist, hips, thighs. lol. I just wish I could lose the belly fat. Stupid cortisol. lol

When I was pregnant with my twins, one of my aunts used to greet me with, "Hey tubby!" For the record, I gained the same amount of weight with the twins as I did with my first baby: I was just over 200 lbs when I gave birth and it was all baby.
-
The summer before I started high school, my dad suggested that maybe I should lose 10 or 15 pounds. You know, so the boys would think I'm pretty. AS IF a parent puts pressure on a 14 year old girl to please boys?! :explode: Society and the media do it enough!!!! I have 3 daughters and there is no way in hell I'm going to…

 Met on May 6, 2001; first kiss on May 9, 2001, practically inseparable ever since; married May 18, 2002: so 11 years together and 10 years married next month. And we're living our happily ever after.

^^ This! After having four babies, I don't really give a rat's patootie who's looking at me. I have nothing to hide anymore! Seriously, though, I prefer clothing that is comfortable and flattering, not revealing. I embrace my new, healthier body, but some things are only for my hubby. When I buy skirts for…

Ditto! Especially with my twins...the weight just fell off me! Then as they got older, they nursed less, but I still ate the same way... HUGE mistake! lol

^ What he said. The one I used accounted for the extra calories you burn producing breastmilk as well as extra protein, carbs and fat in order to make sure you're producing good quality milk.

I love those kinds of NSVs!!

I stopped logging my breastfeeding calories when I noticed I had hit a plateau. My baby was about 14 months old at the time. It didn't help, so I concluded I'm at the point where I can't lose any more weight simply by eating fewer calories (i.e. time to start exercising!!) I didn't notice any supply issues when I stopped…

I swear, hubby swears, we just don't swear in front of the kids (8, 6 and 16 months). Actually, that's not true...the baby has heard me swear, but she's not going to rat me out. That being said, they hear stuff at school. They test it out at home. My 6 year old daughter LOVES announcing that someone in her class dropped…

When I was about 16 or 17, I was helping my dad buy my mom's Christmas presents and the clerk in a store mistook us for a couple. My dad would have been 43 or 44 at the time. I'm still in therapy.

When we met, I was 25 and my husband was a month away from turning 32. I was working on my Masters and he was about to get his BSc, so I assumed he was my age or even a year or 2 younger. You could have knocked me over with a feather when he told me he was 31! But here we are, nearly 11 years later.

Stretch marks start out red/pink but over time fade to silver/white. There is nothing you can do to make them go away, sadly. Most of mine were gifts from my children.

Well said. And cases like yours are very rare...the number of women who are medically/physically unable to nurse is very small. Most women are not successful because they don't have the right information or support...because the marketing people who work for formula companies are experts at making moms second-guess…
-
I was going to say the same thing! Congrats to you! Too many adult moms don't nurse beyond the hospital, so you have nothing to feel guilty about!!
-
This.

I recently stopped "adding back" breastfeeding calories because I have hit a plateau. We co-sleep, so my 15 month old nurses a lot during the night, but I don't think it's enough to justify consuming extra calories. I'm still at a plateau, but oh well. I also agree with all the moms who say weight crept back after they…

I think I have a crush on you. :flowerforyou:

^^ THIS times a million!! Enjoy every precious moment.

I just got an Old Navy Go-Dry tank and Compression capris (I think that's what they are...). Love them!! They were both on special when I bought them. I have also bought stuff in thrift stores...you can find nice brand name stuff still in like new condition because people shrink or give up. If you're in…

I also log shopping as walking. I mean, really, it's above and beyond my normal day to day activities, so it counts.

Good heavens! Some Jensen we don't have! Must tell hubby! Also what makes me a geek: I watch Criminal Minds for Reid (I have a crush on him and on Matthew Gray Gubler. Have you ever checked out his Gublernation website?? Acting like a geek is not too much of a stretch for him. )
