But of course :)

We hit the $2,000 mark with the donations recently. I'm just really glad that she is going to have some kind of legacy to help others. That was really her -- always thinking of others before herself.

I promised my wife I would get back into shape, so I'm here just about every day. Feel free to add me. :)

The weight isn't supposed to be the real goal. The real goal is to become a healthier person. If you do that, the weight will take care of itself.

I suppose if anything I feel guilty over the fact that I'm just so darned good looking after losing the weight that it just isn't fair to all the other guys out there. ;)

Just remember that the lifestyle changes that you have made are far more important than what the scale says. Even if you aren't losing weight, your body is definitely becoming healthier every day.

I started a donation page for the Gastric Cancer Foundation in her honor last night and in less than fifteen hours it has already raised $1,425. People are wonderful. :)

Just ran three miles for the first time in two years. She was in my thoughts the whole time, pushing me along.

I've already convinced several people to join "Team Nathalie" to raise money for the Gastric Cancer Foundation. I'd love to raise at least $10k in her name if I can.

Been there, done that, bought the XXL tee shirt. You can't change the past, so all you can do is change how you view the future. Look on the bright side -- that you lost the weight before means that you CAN do it again.

My wife lost her fight early Saturday morning at 2:00. It's been a tough weekend but I'm slowly starting to heal and am more determined than ever to reach my goal in her memory.

Take a longer break before sets, too.

Remember this: You were 321. Now your "worst fear" is to have a net loss of 121 pounds since then. Very few people on this planet have ever successfully lost 121 pounds.

Here's the thing about weigh-ins -- your natural weight fluctuation is about two or three pounds over the course of a day. Drink a tall glass of water? You just gained one pound. Secondly, scales only tell weight. A scale can't tell the difference between a pound of lead and a pound of wood. Similarly, it can't tell the…

When I did my first half marathon, the longest I had ever run at one time was eight miles. I not only was able to run the entire half marathon without walking, but my pace was one minute faster than my goal.

You know what the best exercise is? The one you enjoy the most. If you hate doing something, you won't do it. But if you find an activity that you really enjoy, you'll be willing to do it for hours at a time. In the end, what is better, burning 500 calories over two hours or burning 400 over 30 minutes then quitting?

I wouldn't. My wife would kill me if I did!

I have done one full marathon. To say that I "ran" it would be a gross overstatement. I crawled, scraped, cried, whatever, but I did cross the finish line. In seven hours... If you've never done a half marathon, do that first. And realize that a full marathon is a hell of a lot more than two half marathons. If you can just…

Such people aren't worth your time.
