Weekends are tough, no doubt about it. But I concur with those who recommend treating the weekend just like the rest of the week. Try to muster the discipline to find sensible food options and, if you really want to let loose, just do so in moderation.

Awesome. I too was amazed at how quickly my body responded. The brand I use mentions how quickly it would act but I couldn't help but to be skeptical. I was wrong. Nonetheless, I'd recommend paying attention to the pain so as to avoid doing any damage (I know it goes without saying).

Just snack and eat (healthy choices) when your feeling hungry and be mindful of your caloric intake. It's been mentioned above, calories in - calories out; extra energy will be stored as fat.

Have to agree with those who suggest drinking what you want but in moderation. Alcohol is empty calories, you're not getting any health benefit by consuming them. If you have the caloric freedom go for it. Then wake-up, drink a Bloody Mary, and go run 3 miles.

Floated through the Suez Canal. Width of the flight deck was wider than the canal so when we looked over the side it appeared as though we were moving on land.

Perhaps taking a Glucosamine & Chondroitin supplement will help. Suffered from the same symptoms in my left knee and one of my Marines made a recommendation. Agree! Essentially what a nutritionist told me, the same nutritionist who recommended MFP. Don't get discouraged, just keep at it.

For me it was a couple of weeks after getting serious about cutting calories and paying attention to my portion sizes. Being more active (i.e. excercising more than 3 times a week) certainly has helped. I first noticed it when my pants buttoned easier, not via a glance in the mirror.
