FABULOUS!!!! We're the same height and my longer-term goal is 180. What an inspiration. Thank you for sharing!

I totally agree with this! I walk/jog right now and focus on how good I will feel afterwards.

I think you'll definitely be fine. I had a work conference (free food, etc.) and worked out however I could and kept logging. As long as I was mindful, I was fine. Came back home and found that I'd lost weight. Enjoy your vacation!

HIGH FIVE to that. :) Cheers!

I've renewed my dedication to using MFP too. I'm happy to be friends with folks for encouragement (I'm on everyday). I'm 29, 5'7", married and have a looong way to go. :)

I researched the heck out of the vitamins I'm taking. I have a little more energy and I'm getting a more regular period flow (I'm on BC -- Loestrin 24FE). Here's what I currently take. Brand/type, mg, and (quantity): New Chapter Organics Every Woman Whole Food Multi (1) New Chapter Wholemega Whole Fish Oil 1000mg (2) Alpha…

I get night sweats regularly (and occasional hot flashes) and am on BC. No doctors could figure it out, but I found that when I wasn't on the pill, I was much better. Got told I was pre-menopausal (I was 28 at the time). That was fun. Alas, stopping BC right now is not an option for me. I'm currently undergoing…

PCOS here too. Only found out what was wrong after I'd stopped working out for a few months and gained 30-40lbs. Much harder to lose, yes, but not impossible. I'm wary of Metformin, but it's only because I'm not a fan of prescription meds. I'm on BC to regulate my menstrual cycle. I have to agree with others about…

You know, the mental stuff is the hardest part to deal with. I know how that is and deal with it daily. HOWEVER, you have made amazing progress and should feel even more validated by everyone posting here! Thanks for sharing your photos and story. It made me feel better. I feel like there's hope in sight for me too. :)

Looking at this made me nauseous...

I got to a point in my weight loss journey a year ago where I was stalled. I was going through a lot and barely eating. I went to a nutritionist and was told that I HAD to eat more in order for my body to rev back up again. I added more fruits and veggies, maybe a serving of raw nuts when I didn't meet my daily quota here…

I'm 5'7, with heavy muscle mass. My smallest was 150lbs/size 8 back in HS. Folks thought I weighed 120. I personally think I looked like a bobble head. My happiest was a size 12/165-175. I'm currently 272/size 18/20 currently, so I have a ways to go. I'll be pumped when I get to 200 and see what happens from there.
