Hi all, looking for friends to motivate and support each other. I'm an active user who has hit 370 days. I've also reached my goal weight but want to stay motivated and help other to reach any goal. I'm waiting to have back surgery so all I can do at the moment are snail pace walks but I'm staying positive. Feel free to…

Thanks for that tip Nancy I'm going to try taking my watch off also. Mine is weird it's around 20bpm more than when I'm laying in awake. I'm not paying it much attention anymore because it doesn't take it at rest for sure. I'll post if it made a difference by taking it off.

Apart from all the obvious benefits, I'd like to add health & wellbeing. My mental health status has improved dramatically due to exercise. I am a type 2 diabetic and was on 2000mg per day of metformin. I am now on 1000mg per day and I go to see my endocrinologist next month and I am so hoping to come off that last dose…

I think that is my problem right there. I do way over level 4 sometimes reaching level 8. Maybe I should lower my resistance or just stick to breaking it up. I also think I am anaemic, so might go for a test soon.

I'm lucky to last 15 minutes on the elliptical trainer haha. I must be really unfit compared to others here. I do the "mix" which is a whole body workout or sport intervals. I couldn't get on it for an hour. On my cardio only days I generally break it up into 2 x 10 minutes. I only started exercising 6 weeks ago but can…

I use a gym one and if I do it for 15 minutues, I burn 85 calories. Your's doesn't sound right.

That is great you paid no joining fee. I'm not a fan of the 24/7 gyms like Jett only because they are not always staffed and I often wonder what would happen if you injured yourself and you were the only one in the gym?

I've been told to do strength training, 3 times a week which should help with excess flab. I started doing it straight way in hope it works haha

Sounds like a very high amount of calories to burn to me. Not saying it's impossible but I do suggest listening to your own body. You will feel when you can push yourself and you build up strength and endurance. Interval training is great. I try to go as fast as I can for a minute and then slow it down for the next two…
