I have a 2 year old and a 1 week old! I have 150 pounds to lose and could really use some support in this journey. I am on leave until the new year, so I really want to take the next 13 weeks to get a jump start on this journey.

I see a lot on here about low carb diets , as an alternative I would like to suggest "The PCOS Diet" book ... It talks about spreading carbs out throughout the date to help balance your blood sugar and metabolism. Carbs come from fruit, veggies, and whole grains. I am personally doing ( or trying anyways) to do 45% carbs…

Thanks Ladies! We have been letting nature take its course up until recently when we actually have tried to conceive, we know it will take some time, and my doctor has been supportive of it, but I know losing weight wont hurt. Plus I want to be the best mom and wife I can be, and that means being healthier than I am now.

This is an interesting topic ... I have always had athletic superstitions and idiosyncrasies but I havent thought about it much as far as working out... Ill have to pay more attention.
