I just started P90X on Monday so.....I have a ways to go. BUT I can tell you it is a good workout and so far three days into it, It does mix it up a bit. It is like alternating between strength workouts (which still get my heart rate up) and cardio. BUT like I said, I am only three days into it.

Just get out there and do it. I felt the same way today and I just got back from my 2.43 mile walk!

I don't think much about sodium. BUT I know for the most part I am under most of the time. For one, I never use salt when I cook, unless baking. I rarely put it on my food afterward either. I do not eat lunch meat, but I do eat cheese. Most peeps are right about the prepackaged food....try to stay away from it.

I know that is a tough one. I dislocated my knee cap quite a long time ago. But I have a host of other issues as well.....I have a plate in my leg (by my ankle). All I can say is, they are right....swimming is helpful and less strain on the joints. Maybe ask doctor for some strength training for the knee. For me, ice packs…

It is important to consume some calories before working out is what a personal trainer told me. I hired one for a few sessions once and he said to have at least 200 to 300 calories (protein) before he showed up. After I workout, I am not hungry at all either, but I do drink a lot more water.
