  • Maybe you are eating too little and your body is storing anything it can as fat. I would see the Dr. and tell them what your diet consists of and see if it is acceptable, and if you may have an underlying medical condition that is hindering progress. Good luck. Don't give up. You will find what works for you.
  • I gave it up in June...Tell yourself you don't want it not that you can't have it...That worked for me. I don't miss it any more. I drink water and tea and coffee...It was the right decision for me, it added nothing to my life.

  • I eat whole foods mostly. They require me to chop and cook and spend time making meals or snacks. I have found that it is a lot more work and that I would love a personal chef but it's my job and I am learning more about nutrition this way. I try to make the calories count to make me healthy and weight loss is an awesome…

  • There are so many flavors of tea to try, and adding fruit to water or a splash of lemon or lime or even a splash of apple cider vinegar tastes nice. I love decaf coffee in rich blends. Maybe make a smoothie once in a while.
  • Our weight is not a constant all day or day to day...Water weight and gaining muscle can make the numbers go higher. Consider taking measurements but don't get down if the scale doesn't seem right. If you are doing the right things than you can't go wrong.

  • Instead of weight training you may find yoga or light stretching more beneficial at the moment and then move on to small weights at a later date.
  • Because I know that the days where I am not strong and go over is my bodies way of jump starting and restarting my weight loss...Because just like changing up your exercise routine your calorie overload isn't the end of the world and is sometimes necessary to keep motivations high. I will stay on target today because I…
  • It sounds a bit like mom was expecting the money you spent...If it was owed to her than you should have talked with her about your intentions before you decided on your own. It would be a let down to think that you had no say in money that you were counting on, even if it were for the purchase of something like a computer.…
  • I am 5'4 and I have lost 44 lbs. since around June/July. I gave up Diet Soda and Electronic Cigs too. I eat fruits, and vegetables, beans, and seeds, and nuts, and just a little bit of carbs once in a while, and my meat portions are around 4 to 6 ounces and maybe 3 to 4 times a week I use coconut oil and red palm fruit oil…
  • I did watch that and I am alarmed that more people don't take it all serious. Many people act like we are being silly when we worry about the food we eat and more importantly still the food we feed our kids. I quit Diet Coke and cut sugar out of my life and I don't miss it,
  • I am still learning how to lose weight and live a healthy life and would love to encourage others and be inspired by everyone who is taking the steps to get some where better.
