Personally no - it's just a name to me. I am trying to see why it would be funny or apt but am at a loss :embarassed: Does 'tube' mean something different in the USA?
-
What makes it unhealthy?

Ha! Yes, for a nation of tea drinkers we still haven't quite got to grips with the 'iced tea' concept! Well, we understand the concept, I don't understand why you'd want to drink it

I have never heard this term before! It's conjuring up some quite disturbing images, let me tell you! In the UK, 'pooch' is another word for 'dog'. And i'm sure everyone is familiar with the verb 'to screw'...

Sort of - a gateau is a very specific type of cake (like black forest gateaux). Cake is cake. A gateau is a gateau

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I know what GMO and organic mean. I was questioning why organic or non-GMO soy would have different levels of phytoestrogens to non-organic or GMO soy. The statement I quoted appeared to imply this, so was interested in the reasons and sources, as it otherwise seems a very strange…

I'm sorry, I don't understand any of this? Firstly, the effect of phytoestrogens on the human body is highly debated. Secondly, why would being organic make a difference?
-
Great, thank you

I did have my doubts! I had a quick search beforehand to see if it was authentic or not and couldn't find any confirmation...But thought i'd copy and paste in it's entirety anyway! Makes me crack up thinking of John Cleese ranting away
-
Yes, yes I did! :blushing:
-
My friend posted it on Facebook - i'm not sure how true it is that John Cleese wrote it, but I can definitely imagine him saying it

Why aye pet  Definitely my favourite English accent.

Last week I had some lovely fresh trout, baked with parsley, lemon and a dash of white wine, served with steamed samphire and green veggies. I am sure that came in under 400 cals

Though strangely, as an English person, I have been asked a couple of times (by other English people) if I was Australian! Never been there in my life! Though there is a distinct possibility they may have been morons. I generally have quite a 'neutral' English accent, fellow Brits can usually only pinpoint me to South vs…

I guess the easiest thing would be to say that the salary offered was not the one previously agreed?
-
Gahhh! Nope, can't do it! If I try and keep my shoulders over my feet I just have to much weight behind my feet and I fall over backwards! I can do it when I have my arms out front to counter balance, but I just tried to have a go with a pole on my back and I couldn't stay up.

Surely the problem here is NOT that is is GMO - it is the fact there are traces of pesticides? Which can surely be an issue regardless of GMO status or not...

The 'cool' British guy? I hope you aren't talking about Piers Moron - he is widely despised in the UK. Unfortunately his ever increasing TV presence is making him 'famous' and, presumably due to good script writers, people even seem to like him? Ugh, repulsive smarmy git. *shudder* Though I guess we can thank the USA for…

How about a ginger, spinach and lentil curry? My recipe is 183 cals per serving, so plenty of leeway if you want nan bread or rice with it! The below recipe is the approximate amounts per serving - I made 3 servings altogether with one tin of tomatoes, so two tins would be good for 5-6 servings! The spinach is an…

Precision Engineered? Haha, the crazy marketing ploys these guys come up with make me chuckle  I found this post from a quick google: http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/protein/118921-precision-engineered-whey-13-half-price.html they seem to think there is better stuff out there and for cheaper. I got mine from myprotein…

If I was only eating 600 calories a day I would be obsessing over food too! So I would say it is completely normal. When I was at the 1200 calorie 'minimum' (more on that in a second) I was obsessing over food. However - it would be very wise to sit down and really think about your relationship with food. Consider…

Nope. So long as any added extras (cream, sugar etc.) stay within your calorie goals.

I bought 1kg of unflavoured 'impact whey protein' from myprotein for £13.79 delivered - you can get flavoured ones too. I used a combination of codes to get a £2.28 discount (almost works out at free delivery), which was using a referral code for 5% off (my code is MP616331) then you can also use their price beater tool…

'Britain' (or rather, Great Britain) generally refers to the collection of England, Scotland and Wales together - so a 'British' accent would be mental

When I do breakfast smoothies I normally add some oats too - and maybe some toasted walnuts. Delicious!

I'm gearing up to get started on squats. However, i'm struggling with form (I have been practicing without weights). I stand with feet shoulder width - toes slightly pointing out - knees following toes - I squat, parallel or below, head up, chest out, pushing through the heels - lower back flat to slightly arched.... so I…

Not quite - feta is usually made with sheep's milk, or in some cases a combination of sheep and goat. If we're talking 'proper' Greek feta anyway!

If they had a chicken kebab it was probably shish - doner is (almost always?) lamb.

For lots of reading, you want the Kindle, NOT a kindle app on an ipad. It's so much easier on the eyes!
