Just finished up my first half marathon in Nottingham, UK.

It has literally never even crossed my mind that the gym is a place I should be wearing makeup - so, no.

Anyone is welcome to add me :) http://www.fitbit.com/user/29TGYY

Also got one for Christmas - for me it isn't much use, I was already active and had a handle on my diet so I don't really find it motivating or helpful. I find the sleep tracking utterly pointless as it isn't accurate at all (I was awake for an hour or so in the middle of the night last night but the tracker said I was…

I'm from West Yorkshire, now living in Derbyshire - feel free to add me anyone :)

I work in a Chinese Takeaway and not only do we get a meal each day we also get any 'mistakes' that are made - I turn down 90% of it and it's pure torture not only because I love food but also because I love freebies and bargains and saving money!

Nope. Christmas day is a write off calorie wise but I don't mind - if i were trying to take it easy I'd log but it's cheat day as far as I'm concerned. In previous years it's never really done me any harm to have a day or two off completely over the holidays.

Can't beat Lidl/Aldi for price and quality - especially on fresh stuff like fruit, veg and meat.

Thank you. I think what I will do is pick up the plan at week five and follow it for a week or two - then decide if I think it is doable and sign up to the race if I think it seems like a good idea. Looking at it again I think I will actually be running considerably less than I am now and other than the one long run a week…

Have it recorded ready to watch when I get the chance :)

Three meals, two snacks. Though technically I guess it's more like Two meals, three snacks as my breakfast is usually only something very small like a crumpet or slice of toast at 100cals. Breakfast - 100cals Snack - 100 -150cals Dinner - 300 - 400cals Snack - 100 - 150cals Tea - 400 - 600cals

My 18 month old westie pup can be a pain - if I close him in another room he just barks and barks and scratches at the door so I let him in the room with me, generally he just plays with his toy on his cushion or goes out in the garden if I have the door open - but when he's in a playfull mood I have no chance, he gets…

Ahh all this required ettiquette and rules and being judged if you do something 'wrong' is the exact reason I don't want a wedding - so much pressure over stupid stuff that really doesn't matter. When I do get married I am just gonna plan it in a few weeks - get a dress, invite a select few family and friends out for a…

It's never happened to me so I am not sure how I would feel - I think that there's probably nothing worse than someone asking/offering advise as long as they back straight off if you say 'No thanks'. But if someone jumps right in and tells you you are doing something wrong and should be doing it like this - I think I'd…

Handsome fella, well done :)

Boobies gone :(

I'm short, don't weigh a massive amount and am fit so it would take me around 100 minutes running at full whack with my heart rate right up at 160+ to burn 1000 cals (I usually burn about 600 in 70 mins running)!! 0_o

Last September (I think), I have gained a stone since then!

5. Terriers (Jack Russells, Carin Terriers, and Miniature Schnauzers): Now don’t take this the wrong way, but owners of terriers were shown to be—how can we put this delicately—rather low on the emotional stability scale. On the plus side, you’ve got a super-cute companion to help you through any funks. Read more:…

Rule #18 : Go to Bed Hungry Whyyyyyyyyy? That's one that I've never heard before. I can't sleep when I am hungry, it's probably my main diet rule NOT to go to bed hungry - even if I have no spare calories, if I am laying in bed unable to sleep because I am hungry I will try a big glass of water first and if it doesn't help…

I really want to but I don't think they've 'taken off' yet in the UK - as soon as there is one near me though I am so there :)

Baked omlette/quiche - cook any veg you fancy in it (I usually go onions, mushrooms, pepper and brocolli), pour into a loaf tin, add beaten eggs (I use 5 but you can use as many or few as you like) with whatever spices you like, if you have the cals to spare and like cheese you can also add light cream cheese. Optionally…

I lost 7 stone through at home DVDs and running - I have joined a gym now, but you definitely don't NEED one.

I think a lot of people in this thread need to go back and read the first post - many of the responses are far more *****y and personal that the OP was ("sorry you are so insecure darlin", "get over it" "way to insult every one here" etc). I personally didn't see much wrong with the OP, the point she was making is one that…
