Sugar cravings generally exist in people who consistently diet on too little calories per day. Sugar addiction, I know I'll trigger some butthurt, doesn't exist within itself. It could exist as a part of some other bigger picture issue. What's the big picture issue? Here's a example: If you're addicted to sugar and i…

Nutrients are key. Nutritionists will break things down to the ridiculous for lay people so it's a pure numbers game. If you search the Twinkie diet, you'll find a professor who dieted down with full blood panels showing before and after that the blood serum vitamin levels were near perfect, but he had dieted down solely…

Zero difference in high fat vs high carb diets. If you like high carb, eat high carb. If you like high fat, eat high fat. If you like cycling high fat on rest days and high carb on training, go for it.

SS hit the nail on the head. Certain personality types are okay with outcome goals. They can accept the idea that fat loss or muscle gain won't be linear and they are okay with it. For the others who stress about every ounce fluctuating on the scale, I'd rather them improve their lifts by 10% every 6 weeks. Its something…
