I just recently found my TDEE. Now i'm burning the lats of the fat. Took months of experimentation.

I drink Starbucks every day. On lift days where I can have the carbs i'll have a large latte with soy. On rest days where carbs are low i'll have an americano. If you like something and can figure out how to make it fit your macros then go for it.

I guess the question is how close to ideal weight are you for your height and age? Whats body fat%? Do you want to "tone" up or lean down?

I prefer having a weekly caloric goal and sticking to my daily goals as opposed to being slave to the add back calories. for instance I burn 17200 cals a week give or take a hundred. 17200/7=2457. Be sure to do ADF correctly. Your regular eating days are not at a deficit. Its at TDEE. IE: when I do a 5:2 week my weekly TDEE is 17200. 17200/5=3440 I need 500ish cals on fasted days so lets say 2800 on regular days. If you are going to fast, fast correctly! You can lose "weight" eating anything. You can have great body composition eating mostly clean though.

No offense but most of the high cal eaters are losing about 1/2-1lb a week. at your intake you obviously arent. Maybe you need higher calories to boost your leptin and allow better fat loss... So 1600 daily should do the trick. Be sure not to cut calories while recovering from surgery so your body has the building blocks to heal itself correctly.
