I'm having a small piece of pumpkin pie later today - but I did save the calories. I DO so love cheesecake too! Hope you don't have to kill anybody!

I don't do well with 1200 cals. I can manage with 1300 and have lost 12 pounds.
-
If I run out of calories, I don't eat! Try hard not to use my exercise calories! Try to walk every day.
-
That's what my hubby said too!
-
619 for me - I have enough calories saved for 1/8 slice of pumpkin pie! I have weighed and measured everything today! Didn't want to use Thanksgiving as an excuse to eat more! But if I had, I would just get right back on the wagon tomorrow.

If you're old then I'm ancient! LOL! Seriously, I'm 55 and the nana to a terrific 3 year granddaughter! I'm so excited for you on that aspect! Please add me as a friend. This group of people are the best! I've been doing this since May and have lost almost 12 pounds. I'm not one to do a bunch of jumping up and down and…

Add me - I've been doing this since May. Lots of great people who will support you!

Thanks guys for the input. I was thinking if I cut it into 100 pieces - that would work! Just kidding. This is my favorite cake and since I only make it once a year, I really don't want to mess with the recipe. I'll just have to cut a small slice and then walk away!

Some people do but I usually do not! I'm eating 1300 cal per day. I would only use those extra calories only if there was a special reason and I needed them.

I think you're doing great! I'm lucky if I get in 40 min of walking or bike riding. Getting weight off takes time and persistence. Do not give up. You'll have lots of support from this site!

My hubby just takes a Boston Butt Pork Roast, slices an apple in the bottom of the crock pot, adds the pork, salt and pepper and cooks on low for about 6 - 7 hours! It's great! Then chop any leftovers with a little bbq sauce for the next night!

I'm from NC also! Welcome - you'll love this site.

OMG! Last night's episode was GREAT! I can't wait until next week! I'm already dreading when the season ends.
-
Every morning as soon as I wake up and pee! I even write it down in a notebook I keep in the bathroom - I'm anal like that! Just keeps me in line!
-
Great job! Wish I could get my daugther going on this!
-
My favorite show! I haven't noticed the walk but will check it out tonight! Does anybody think Juice died?

I'm in Wilmington, NC also! We live in a 2nd floor condo so definitely won't be flooded. I'm a little concerned about the high winds and breaking glass. Got all the supplies we'll need if we lose power. Hope everybody stays safe!

Maybe bike riding - wouldn't put any pressure on your feet. I know that's very painful - when mine flares up I start wearing my Sketchers for a few days. Good luck.
-
Thanks everybody! You've talked me into leaving it at home. I will be walking and biking and am going to do my best to stay on track - I do plan to make a blackberry cobbler in my dutch oven but will be sharing it with a lot of people, so as long as I get a tiny bite, I'll be okay. I'll check back in on August 2nd!

Welcome - love this site. I've lost 8 pounds so far. It's very easy to count calories with this program and there's always somebody to answer any questions you have. Good luck.
-
Used to be cheerios - now I'm addicted to Frosted Mini-Wheats. I also love oatmeal in the winter. I also eat cereal sometimes if I have calories I need to use.
-
I eat the same thing almost every day for breakfast and lunch. Dinner varies from day to day but not much from week to week. I think as long as you like what you're eating and seeing a loss, you're okay.

Peanut butter!
-
Yeah - that extra 90 calories really messed up my snack plans for later on!!!
-
Just call me STUPID today! I rechecked the mayo jar and I was looking at servings not calories!!! It is 90 calories! My husband said to tell everybody I was just having a "senior" moment!

That's great! I think when you turn 50 it just gets harder and harder. But this site definitely helps keep me accoutable and motivated. I've been doing it since May 9th and love it. Good luck.
