  • I am like you and have a desk job, but since changing my habits and getting fitter, i now walk a lot more than i ever did, and have my jawbone set to buzz if 30 mins pass and i have not walked, so I get up and walk around the block,so I do add my walked steps, as i used to move about 1000 a day, and now its around 5000, i…
  • Mine is open, feel free to add me, but be warned, mine is ugly... i always stay in my calories per day ( well mostly ) but i dont deprive myself anything, and just work my meals out as i go along lol! x
  • I usually lose on holiday, but thats because i walk/swim etc a lot more than i do at my desk job lol! make sure you have whatever you want, but just remember what 75gms of pasta looks like etc, and dont go nuts, you dont have to log everything to the last gram, but just be mindful, also check out how many cals good quality…
  • I have had to some of mine on the treadmill so i think as long as you are moving its a win
  • You will be fine, just remember that its not a race, and these things take time. You are only 4'11 so the good news is, you will notice a difference quickly with only a few pounds off ( the flip side is it makes us shorties look bigger faster too lol ) Make sure you weigh everything you eat on electronic scales, drink lots…

  • Take 6 eggs, beat them up, put them into muffin tin and bake in the oven for about 15-20mins, ( 6 eggs makes 12 muffins ) you can have 2 muffins for 100 cals, ( or less ) and you can do them in batches and keep them in the fridge and just grab them as you head out the door  I chop up a tomato and put that in the…
  • Are you on a mobile or PC?

  • Full fat icecream, peanut butter on brown toast, pasta, even adding a complan drink into your daily diet should help you push up the cals. x
  • Not tried them, it would be more the aloe cleanse that would worry me, if you are using that too! Basically a laxative effect, so you would lose weight, but as soon as you stopped you would put it all back ( and probably more ). Can i ask why you are taking the ketones? Have you read it helps you lose weight? If they…
  • Great work. well done
  • Cant stop laughing, are those peep things the things, that if you put them in the microwave they grow to like 5 times their size, and take over your kitchen?

  • Just make sure you log everything you eat, and weigh out your food so you know exactly how much you are eating. You can do this, if i can, anyone can
  • Hey hun, well it seems you do know how to lose the weight as you have had success in the past, so well done. Do you weight everything you eat? if not get some kitchen scales and just weigh your food, even your take aways, i eat all sorts of stuff but just make sure i am not over my cals for the day. Maybe take your little…
  • When you say "feel exactly the same" what do you mean? Do you mean your weight hasnt moved so you feel defeated? or do you mean emotionally you feel sad? Its only been a week and Rome wasnt built in a day hun. Stick with it. x
  • Mine have started rubbing as i have lost weight this time! Never ever rubbed in my life, but i now know why women on holiday wear shorts to the beach if they have to do any walking. It was agony  ... i am hoping it stops as i lose more weight!
  • on the days it does that to me, and i am really not hungry i just pretend i had some cheese! Not that it happens that often, i love my food and believe the winners are the ones that can eat as much as poss, still lose weight and not feel deprived :) Try a protein shake or something if you are falling short in future, but…
  • Hey hun half a pound a week is an achievement, i am losing my weight slowly too, mainly through choice, i want to give my skin a chance to catch up with the smaller me, so i dont end up too saggy, and also, i need to make this choice for the rest of my life, i lose about .5lbs a week too, and i am chuffed to bits :) i am…
  • IF = intermit fasting, which is what you are doing if you are only eating 500 cals 2 days a week. It wont let you publish as you are not eating enough and MFP doesnt know you are IF. You might just not be able to complete on your fast days.
  • I use them, i put them in my protein shake after a workout sometimes, they are pretty low cal, no fat and are reported to help keep your guy clean, I can not comment on the claims, but i love them, have they helped me lose weight...NOPE, that would be the calorie deficit i stick to, i dont use them to "fill me up" just for…
  • Its all about cals in vs cals out. Whatever way you get those cals. Fruit sugar shows up in MFP as just sugar, no split between refined and fructose etc, if you are eating at a deficit you will lose weight. I never worry about my micros as i drink mean green juice which sends my sugars too high, but i know its good for me.…
  • Hi there, Happy to be friends, i log daily, on here most days, and i am not on a fad diet, or trying to race to the end of my weight loss, after years of my weight yoyoing i am going slow and steady, not cutting out anything, just staying within my calories and doing it sensibly. I will send you are request x
  • I dont often eat back, but i have my cals set to a sensible amount. I have lost nearly 2.5 stone, and it seems to be working for me. If i had my cals set low 1200 or something then i would have to eat them back, as no way i am going to feel hungry :)
  • I think fluids in general count too, like tea, fruit juices etc.
  • I have the jawbone UP, i only paid £40.00 for it, and i must admit it keeps me motivated. The steps seem pretty accurate, and typing/drying my hair etc def doesnt add any steps, as i have mine set to vibrate every 30 mins if i have not moved, i have an office job, so means i get up and walk around the block, not much, but…
  • This! Also weigh everything!
  • Hi feel free to add me if you are still looking for friends, i log daily, my diary is open, i am not on a crazy fad diet, just in this for the long haul, watching what i eat and moving more. x
  • I am a migraine sufferer, and have a constant headache even when the migraine isnt happening, i have tried lots of different things, i have cluster migraines with aura, and i have been on amatriptalyne for 7 years which did not really help, then they tried a beta blocker, which just made me feel terrible so i am currently…
  • A good rule of thumb is buy food scales and also look on the pasta pack to see what their serving suggestion is, in the UK it is 75gms, ( which made me sad as it is not that much lol ) but its a good starting point to see what the manufacturers recommend for prepacked stuff. Also the scales are good as you know exactly the…
