I have some days where they are more evenly spread, then some days where I will have a 300 calorie breakfast and a 1000 dinner. I have lost weight just fine.

I tried eyeballing my food at first when I wanted to lose weight. I couldn't figure out why my weight wasn't moving much. When starting up logging 6 months ago, I started weighing all of my food and have dropped 64 lbs since then...yeah I recommend weighing. The closer you get to your goal, the more accurate you need to be…

I start off my day eating lots of protein (usually eggs and bacon) and I don't even get hungry until dinner time. I try to pick proteins for dinner that are high in protein too so that it holds me over. Fruit and veggies have never kept me full longer than 30 minutes. With that being said, the first few weeks of changing…

^^^ this was my first thought. You don't need to cut out any of these foods to lose weight. Just learn to eat smaller portions of all the foods you normally eat.
-
It worked great to help clear up a hot spot my dog had on his head.
-
You can add me, I'm down 62.3 lbs so far and I have about 58 lbs to go. I'll be 30 in June so this is a big year for me
-
See I feel the exact opposite. I am down 62.3 lbs as of today and I eat pretty much whatever I want as long as it fits in my calories. That is more sustainable to me than cutting out all the foods I love. That would make me miserable and want to cheat, etc. I don't ever have bad cravings and I love the foods I eat. If I…

It depends on what works best for you. I work 3rd shift (9p-5a) and still log midnight to midnight. I stop eating at midnight and try not to eat anything until I get home before I go to sleep. I couldn't hat meal as my breakfast because it is my first meal after midnight. Sometimes, like today, I don't eat anything before…

Started in July with 120lbs to lose. I lost 60 lbs so far and hope to lose another 15 lbs by Easter, from there I will set another small goal. I would love to be at goal but the end of this year, but I'm not focusing so much on that as my next small goal. Good luck to you all in your weight loss!

I love my Fitbit Alta. The calorie burn number is always accurate for me and I have lost consistently. I'm not very fond of the issues I've had with the Fitbit Aria scale. Im having to send mine back for a replacement already and it's only been 3 months since I got it.
-
I'm kind of skipping ahead and have not read every comment, but this right here is the issue. You are not weighing and logging correctly. The only way I lost the 60 lbs I have is by weighing every single thing I eat. This is the only way to know that the calorie amount you are taking in is correct. If I make homemade…

I always eat most if not all of my Fitbit calories back and have lost just fine and according to plan (currently am set for 1.5 lbs a week).

No supplements will help. You have to just create a calorie deficit. Reason I am so against the supplements is because they will do nothing to teach you about moderation. They may temporarily help with hunger, but what happens once you stop them?? Eat good fats and protein and you won't deal with hunger. The first few…

Depending on how much weight you have to lose, it is possible. I started in July 2016 and am down 59.8 lbs since then. I started with 120 lbs to lose though, so that makes the difference. Weight loss does slow down as you lose the weight. The first few months I lost around 10-12 lbs each month. Obviously that slowed and…

OP I think once you start weighing and logging everything you eat, you'll start to see the weight come off. One big mistake people make is thinking that just cutting back on a few high calorie habits will cause weight loss. Sometimes it does cause some water weight loss, but most of the time, weight will still not budge.…

Yes, you set your activity level to sedentary and as soon as you go over the sedentary level of activity, mfp will start adding on calories to eat. I am down just shy of 60 lbs from using this exact method so it definitely works.
-
Because you can easily go up 2-3 lbs of water weight just depending on your cycle, your sodium intake, new exercise routine, etc. Weight loss is not linear and it's not going to be a straight line downward. It will jump up and down but overall will have a downward path. To gain 1 lbs of true weight gain, ou would need to…

Not that I saw, but I gather OP didn't want calorie counting advice
-
Ok well I now know you do not care for actual advice, but I will give mine anyways ;) So I am down 56 lbs as of today. I started July 2 and was 258.9 at 5'3". Do that math and you will see I was well within the obesity range. The ONLY thing I have done to lose this weight has been to count calories. I eat sugar EVERY day,…

I am down just over 53 lbs and I eat bacon and eggs 5+ times a week. Just log it and stay in your calorie goal

^^^ This, one thing I used to do really bad was make the excuse "I'll start after this birthday" "after this anniversary" "maybe I'll get my butt in gear after our vacation". Once I reached 120 lbs over a healthy weight, I finally realized that I cannot make that excuse any longer. Another point I'd like to make is that it…

This^^ I freeze my meat raw in smaller portions and then cook it up when needed. You could cook a few chicken breasts at a time and use them over a few days. I personally wouldn't freeze a ton of cooked chicken and then reheat as I think it would be very dry.

Does anyone have that video I've seen posted about the difference a food scale makes? I don't know how to post videos but I think it would be good for OP to see
-
Also this^^^ you need to adjust your expectations. You should only aim to lose .5 lb per week with so little to lose. Also, the closer to your goal you get, the more accurate you need to be with your logging.
-
Lack of food scale is your issue guaranteed. Just curious, how do you even log something like chickens breast accurately without a scale? I promise that if you get a food scale and weigh everything you eat, the weight will start to come off again. My guess is the first few pounds you lost were water weight, followed by a…
-
Not for me. You have to understand that just because you eat to lose 2 lbs per week, doesn't mean it will always come off like that every week. I eat to lose 2 lbs per week but some weeks I lose .2 lbs and some weeks I lose 3.5lbs. Water retention is a big culprit. If you don't watch your sodium levels, you could be…

But what she said WILL work. Right now she is growing a baby though so there will be some weight gain due to that. Eating everything within your calories has worked great for many people, myself included. She doesn't need some diet plan. OP, I know how stressful it is. I was obese during my 2nd pregnancy and really…

I have PCOS and have lost 51 lbs as of today. I don't do cheat days as a planned regular part of my diet, but I will have certain family events a few times a year where I will eat up to maintenance. I never have just a free for all and eat whatever though. I incorporate all of my favorite foods in my diet. Like for…
