  • Aww thanks hun. That's really nice of you to say! I'm sure you'll do great with MFP behind ya :flowerforyou:
  • I'm 5ft 1 and I think I was about 260lbs when I started this *properly* on 1st January. I lost my first 14lbs by 1st Feburary. Probably a combination of being so big to start with and I ate well and exercised EVERY single day for the whole month. My losses have slowed down since then..I'm averaging about 8lbs a month now…
  • YES YES YES!!!!!!
  • Shhhhh!! I love Subway  I get a 6" chicken teriyaki on italian herbs and cheese bread with sweet onion sauce, 2 triangles of american cheese, lettuce, red onion, black olives and pickles for 480 calories and 12g fat - I don't think this is unreasonable for one of my three meals a day since I am allowed 1200 calories…
  • I got my Wii Fit Plus for xmas last year - I started out using it as my only exercise and I lost a 14lbs in a month just doing 30-60mins per day. Totally recommend it. I like the step aerobics, jogging and cycling best. The cycling gets me sweating like mad! I don't use it as much now as I'm doing 30DS but it really helped…

  • Depends. Sometimes I eat all of them back, sometimes I eat none. If I'm hungry then I have NO QUALMS about "dipping into them" so to speak. My scales have been moving down quite slowly recently - I put this down to changing my exercise routine (I was trying to burn 400 - 600 calories per day but I've started doing 30DS 5…
  • Society and skinny models are not on my 'reasons to lose weight' list.
  • Honestly, if I had started this DVD 6 months ago when I was over 40lbs heavier I KNOW I couldn't have done it. I had to build myself up to it by doing cardio and low impact exercises..and I still feel like I'm gonna keel over some days. It's quite intense but a great workout. Be prepared to sweat!
  • All I can say is..WOW!!! Actually no wait..I want to say a MASSIVE WELL DONE too. You look fantastic. Great commitment.
  • I'm doing 30DS too but only 5 times a week. Might sound weak to other people but I don't care..I know my own body and I know it definitely needs a rest inbetween. If you can push through it then it will get easier but remember not to push yourself too hard..you don't want to wear yourself out or even worse, cause damage to…
  • FABULOUS!! I love how you've used the same top so the difference is very very noticable. Well done!! xx
  • ..and someone shouted..
  • went crazy and
  • What the hell! Why is dog food in the food database?  Personally, I think people who make internet profiles for their pets need to get a damn grip!
  • First of all..you were never a "fat hog" I would love to be at your 'before' size  You look beautiful at both sizes but CONGRATS on getting healthy. You look great and that back shot? Wow!! xx
  • FANTASTIC! Well done. I can't wait to see what you look like when you've finished. Very inspiring! :flowerforyou:
  • Bump
  • I really don't like watermelon, fig, grapefruit, melon or tomato   I don't mind bananas but I've put myself off them by reading a story about spiders laying eggs on them or something. Probably stupid I know but it makes me feel sick!! My favourite fruits are cherries, strawberries, pineapple, grapes,…
  • Sorry everyone.. I'm gonna let someone else take my place. I thought it best to do this now before we get any further into the challenge. I'm not going to be able to dedicate as much time as I'd like to at the moment (I thought I would at the start but you know..life happens..) and I don't wanna bring you all down with my…
  • Whoa! Wow. How many times did you do it? :noway:
  • Sorry guys I only burned 167 today - it was my rest day but I walked my dogs
  • Don't be disheartened hun..I can see a difference! Did you do it on consecutive days? I'm doing it now but only 5 times a week :ohwell:
  • Hiiii Selly! Congrats on the new job. It's nice to see someone who is so positive..I'm sure it can only get better for you from here on in! Good luck with everything. I'm Gemma. Gonna add you to my friends list now xx

  • Sorry I haven't been around, ship mates! I've been visiting family and friends this weekend so no exercise for me :blushing: At the moment I am only doing 30 Day Shred 5 times a week so on average only 270 calories burned per day. I'll try to fit some more in though..you're all putting me to shame!! Well done…
  • Hello! I'm in Middlesbrough. I started out in January at size 24 with about 6 stone to lose..I've lost 3 so far but plenty more to go! I'm currently size 18 and doing 30 Day Shred. Wanna be in a 16 before my birthday in August. Feel free to add me to your friend list for motivation!! Welcome to MFP! I'm sure you'll love…
  • Yeeeeahhh!! Look at us in the water there  Thanks so much for organising us, Rob. I'm Gemma. I'm 26 and from the UK. Feel free to add me if you haven't already, shipmates! Yo ho ho!!!
  • Ommmmmmmmm..this sounds SO good to me right now!! Thank you.
  • If you want my HONEST answer then I eat it too! :blushing: I don't drink but I do have to contend with the munchies..if you get me! I just make sure it's once a week and I try to be really good the next day. Treats are mandatory to me so I try not to sweat it. Subway isn't that bad I don't think - I got a 6" sub the other…
  • I normally take a couple of packets of Butterkist toffee popcorn in with me. The wee snack bags are 125 calories each so I figure 250 cals for 2 is not going to hurt me and also I don't feel like I'm missing out
  • Hi, welcome to MFP! I have thyroid problems too but I've managed to lose 42lbs in 6 months without ever setting foot in a gym so have hope..it can be done! I'm just taking it slowly and making sure I take my medication every day, which I was NOT doing before. Bad, I know. Feel free to add me to your friends list for…
