Agree with most of the above. I just break parallel on my back squats (I have to high bar it, but luckily I've got developed traps for cushion). I do ATG on front squats because it's a more natural movement, though.

I'm 5'6", 130 lbs and 33 years old. I cut on 2000 cals/day, but I'm very active and lift 4x/week. My body fat % is low, so my metabolism is very active.

Are you wearing it on your non-dominant wrist but have it set to dominant wrist? I have a Flex (really want a Charge HR) and the step count that way was pretty consistent with my One.

Yup, it's not about weight. I'm 5'6" and had a complete six-pack at 114 lbs (14% bf) and very visible abs at 124 lbs (16% bf--left profile pic). I'll know when I'm lean enough during this cut because I'll get to the point where I have abs again. After that, it's maintain until bulk round 3!

The idea is that my strength gains won't be as severe and I won't be hungry all the time by getting slowly used to eating less. I honestly don't know re: holding onto more muscle...I think that's determined by the calorie cut below TDEE (which I plan on keeping to a minimum anyway)

I've got Celiac, been gluten-free for over two years now.

I was eating at maintenance prior to this bulk, but I increased by 500 calories over the course of about a month. I'm going back down now. Decreased 200 for this week, will decrease about 100 next week and each consecutive week until I start losing.

I'm doing 531 and deload every 4th week. It does feel a bit silly, but I'm way stronger for the next cycle every time. I just took an entire week off last week due to having strep and it sucked, but I wouldn't have been any good in the gym anyway.
