It's deload week, so that's always tough mentally. Cardio: Will take a walk at lunch Strength: Wendler's 5/3/1 OHP, close-grip underhand lat pulldowns, DB incline bench, and seated rows. Assessment: I'm actually glad to start a new week.

This.

The best macro split is that one that aligns with your goals and that you can easily follow. Just eat in a moderate caloric deficit and lift heavy. You'll have an awesome body come your wedding if you start now.

Kyle, I can't sleep at night and I'm measuring every 5 minutes. I did 5 hours of bis/tris yesterday and think I got a tiny pump. Or not. Did some arm supersets on Sat. and moved on with my life.
-
Girl, you're fabulous....but you don't need me to tell you that! <3
-
Yeah, that completely threw me for a loop...and made me realize that I know 100000x more about lifting than that guy ever will.
-
One of the things that I do is 16:8 IF. It helps me control calories, otherwise I way overeat. If I don't start eating until 11, there's less time in the day for me to stuff my face LOL

Oh! And to answer SideSteel: My arms are around 1/8" bigger than at the start of this bulk (2.5 months). My arms grew 1/2" last bulk (20 weeks) and another 1/2" during my 8-month recomp (I didn't cut) leading up to this bulk.

I understand, but as my OP says, I don't have the luxury of time to do that, unfortunately, as that would be ideal.
-
Hahaha...I saw that too! Yes, they are definitely bigger. I'm wondering if this isn't some kind of body dysmorphia issue where my arms are actually bigger than I give them credit for. Trainer at the gym said I had decent-sized guns.
-
Jeez,...can't a girl get her 6.5 hours of sleep without this board blowing up? LOL I'd love to add some bi/tri work, but as my original post states, I literally do not have the time to add to the end of my upper body days. I think it was on the first page that I said I'd add some specific arm time on Saturday. Mon: OHP and…

Da *kitten*?! How the hell do you get that? Just because you power lift doesn't mean you can't be aesthetic too. I'm not sure what you mean by "specific "spot training" (myth) goal" considering that yes, you can "spot train" a muscle group. I'm not looking to "spot reduce fat" or other such nonsense, I'm just looking to…

I work 50-60 hour a week, am working on my master's thesis, and am basically a single parent to a 4yo because of my husband's schedule. Sorry to "complain" about my 11" guns and the lack of time I have to devote to them. BUT, back to the original point, I'm dedicating a chunk of time Saturday mornings to bi/tri supersets.
-
Good point. I'm eating 2700 cals/day as a 5'6", 130 lb female.
-
I can agree with this, however, the other stuff same poster wrote earlier about eating below maintenance some days during a bulk is not a great idea. The only thing you'll do is hamper your gains. Find out your maintenance and eat around 300 cals above that. If you're doing cardio because you love cardio, then have at it.…

This is exactly what i was going to say. Good fiber, vitamin E, etc. and makes a nice, silky smoothie.
-
No kidding, Jo...I'm starting to have those days. Last night I had to do PB with a whole milk/heavy cream chaser.
-
I do a Starbucks or DD gift card.

5 am - GYM 5:45 - 7:30 Husband leaves for work so I shower, get 4 year old ready for the day, make breakfast, pack lunches all alone 7:30am - Leave for daycare/work 8:00am - Arrive at work after dropping kids 5:00pm - Leave work, collect kids from daycare, commute 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Arrive home, cook dinner, eat dinner, do…

I don't think that's being thoughtful, I think that's wasting money. If you're actually friends with the guy and want to get him something, then that's cool...but the OP obviously doesn't have that kind of relationship with the trainer, otherwise she wouldn't be asking what to get him. I give presents to my mailman and my…
-
You pay someone a bunch of money and then still want to buy him a present?! Wow...
-
Yup. I think the OP would be better served checking out NROL(4W, but anything from the series is pretty good) or StrongLifts. I did both, but am doing Wendler's 5/3/1. You really just can't do an entire video of something like that...would be awful to watch!
-
This is what I was going to suggest as well if you really want a video.
-
I know, sounds disgusting. I, on the other hand, have been known to pound down a whole tub of butter with a spoon.
-
I do supersets--one bicep one triceps exercise in each set. No worries!
-
Heavy cream.
-
You are fabulous <3
-
Well, duh. I'm a perv AND a creeper. Jeez, you didn't already know that?!
-
I did the same thing. Had my "free assessment and training session" with him showing me how to squat, DL, OHP, and row
