Thank you!! I am frustrated with all the different approaches and what i'm told i should and shouldn't be doing. I qualify as a trainer in a month and i am baffled as to what i should be advising. As regards to myself i'll just have to keep playing around with things till i find whats right for me. Thanks for the reply x

I thought the same regarding the fats. I normally train 6-7 days a week. I do a lot of cardio, intervals on stair master, treadmill and rower and then machine weights, body weight and free weights. Do you find you can still cut having carbs before training? I normally have oats depending on what i'm training or if i'm in a rush i'll have a shake or banana.

I always have protein afterwards but now i'm reading that you should have carbs afterwards to replace the glycogen in the muscles, fats have the highest energy for exercise and carbs shouldn't be consumed before if you are looking to cut fat. Why doe's calling herself fat offend you?? Her opinion of herself has nothing to do with you!! If you are unhappy with yourself then change it. Just because you view her as skinny doesn't mean she doesn't have her own issue's and things she may want to change.

Yes this. As a former smoker i would smoke after eating, with a coffee and when i was stressed, now i just go for a walk or a run when i'm feeling stressed or just generally bored. I am not addicted to running, i just enjoy it like i enjoyed smoking!!

You are saying sugar in its single form is addictive? do they eat the sugar straight from the tin? No! do they sit and eat bags of banana and grapes till they can not stop? no! You can not compare drugs to sugar. To even do that is ignorant.

Its not addictive, Yes people seem to eat and crave it more once they have a taste for it, Things like cookies, chocolate and so on, but sugar itself is not addictive. You don't hear people say they binged on banana's, grapes and other fruits/sugar!

I mash some berrys into total greek yogurt and spread on an oatcake, or have grapes with almonds or plain old boiled egg.

You asked if fast food is still junk if it is in your goal, you can reach your goal without eating fast food thats what i'm saying. No i am not telling you that you eat junk but you are very vocal about eating anything as long as it is in your macros.
