BSN Syntha-6 tastes fantastic. Macros are decent.

If you have an excellent diet and are eating all the veggies, you don't need it. If (like everyone) you eat a less than ideal diet, multi-vitamins can help cover the bases. They are also fairly cheap. Of-course you shouldn't overdo them (but that can be said about everything in the world).

How low do you want to go? I avoid rice, pasta, potatoes, sweets and bread. My carb intake is around 50 gms per days.

A lot of people (including me) avoid carbs to reduce calorie intake. Whether or not it is healthier is debatable. But please make sure you get a lot of fiber. High protein/fat keeps people more satiated. As long as you are above 1200 calories, it should be fine.

Cardio exercise is the best fat burner.

I would say support is very important. Of course you can do it on your own, but it is a lot easier if you have good support. That's why we have things like AA groups, weight watchers groups, etc.
-
A lot of people have opposite problem; they don't get support from their friends and family to stick to diet and eventually fall of the diet. I think you should 1. Be happy that your friends are supporting you. 2. Develop a thick skin and tell them that you know what you are doing. 3. Make sure you know what you are doing…

I agree. You just need some body recomp. Eating at slight deficit while lifting weights (not just cardio) will go a long way in achieving this.

Try Dark chocolate as alternative to regular chocolate; it is healthier. Also eat less of it a.k.a portion control.

Its all about Calories. If you were not having breakfast before (and you were fine), don't start now; it will increase your calories. "Junk" food is fine; as long as you are within your calories, hit your macros (proteins, fats) and you get enough micro-nutrients (vitamins, fiber) from your diet.

Calorie wise McDonald burger seems to be fine. Just don't order Fries and Large Coke with it. Personally I just don't eat at McDonald cause it don't like its taste.

Bananas, Sugar, chocolates, basically anything with simple carbs will give you energy instantly.

Protein from Veggie sources are not as easily absorbed by your body as Protein from animal sources. So you should consume a bit more protein than regular recommendations. Also take vitamin supplements since some vitamins like B12 are not present in vegan diet.

>>>I lift 5 days week on a push/pull/legs routine. So, I'm assuming I fall under the "active" category. No. If you have an office job which involves seating most of the time, then you fall in sedentary category. You should add the exercises you do to your Exercise tab in MFP to be able to eat additional calories which you…

Carbs. Carbs increase the availability of the hormones melatonin and serotonin, which help you sleep.

3 kgs ~ 6 pounds. (1 kg per week). Cut down on sugars specifically and carbs in general.

General rule is 1 lb = 3500 calories. If you want to lose 2 lbs per week that means you need to reduce 7000 calories per week which mean reduce 1000 calories per day. Since you choose sedentary, your BMR is 2200 calories per day. If you reduce that 1000 calories, you get 1200 calories per day. Of course if you exercise on…

Cardio. If you have already done weight training today, you should let those muscle recover before you stress them again. Muscles build when they are resting after the exercise, exercising them too often without enough rest in between will lead of muscle loss.
