Wow! Whats your story, how long did it take and what did you do? How much have you lost?
-
Your BMI is 20 and as I am sure you are aware, 20-25 is healthy range. Being above or below this can still be healthy but even without pics I can see by your stats that you're certainly not fat. No, its not healthy and yes you will almost certainly gain it back. You will probably feel very unwell on that number of cals and…

tagged as an inspiration thread...amazing!

As much as the after pic posts are all amazing, its the before and afters that I love, because in the befores you can go, oh yes I look a bit like that now. It makes the after more acheivable- if they can do it then so can I, they've come from the same starting ground that I have.

this is insanely good! Where did she go?

This is very good advice.

Hot..thats incredible...imagining myself doing that makes me laugh out loud!
-
Defo hot!

This also made me think. I have a friend who I love who wants to lose weight for her health, great. Her boyfriend has made embarrasing remarks about her being overweight or looking pregnant or when she eats something she shouldnt, all in front of other people. This is to help her lose weight and she says he is trying to…

I cant wait to start lifting! Well done!
-
I agree with this. You didnt start at 190lbs, or 195lbs or 200lbs, you started at whatever point it was where you thought enough is enough, whatever that trigger was. So how can you be so ruthless about your husband? I do agree that he probably needs to lose weight and get fit and healthy, and I would probably also be…

I wish I had seen this! I'd like to join please if possible. What kind of thing are the mini challenges?

I think I need to do more exercise than that to lose weight, I already walk a mile to work and a mile back, and around a mile at lunchtime to get to the shops, but that doesnt really shift any weight, or earn me many more exercise calories. I walk at 3.5 mph but it doesnt get my heart rate up enough to feel that I have…

No, I'd have to get up around 6.30, I must have had 5am on the brain when typing that, probably from shock haha! I wanted to get through the Ripped in 30 dvds, I would be so proud if I did so I am going to try and hold on to that, figure that by 7am I could have my exercise done for the day. Its good to see a convert as it…

This has totally struck a cord with me!!! I ALWAYS fail with exercise and blame it on me being lazy/rubbish/not motivated enough and generally feeling upset and angry with myself and then probably comfort eat becuase 'whats the point'. Do you know what my exercise goal was this week? (Bearing in mind that last week all I…

I'm glad I read this thread, this is EXACTLY what I needed to read and need to do. I start off motivated to lose weight and get fit as I hate what I see, then it dwindles down unless I have something big like my wedding! I need to make it a habit.
-
I'm so behind on reading peoples responses, thanks loads for your answers, espesh those who have kids and have had to really change their morning to working out when theyre not used to it! You have all genuinely motivated me to get organised tomorrow morning and do it, so well done this has been your good deed today!!!xx

Most days are yeah.... I think from reading everyones posts that mornings are the way to go, I can see it works for most people here but any motivation tips are helpful as I am not a morning person! The thought of getting up at 5am fills me with horror so I need to get over that! Like I said in my original posts, excuses…

I cant see the pic :-(

This! If something bothers you....eyebags, blemishes, WEIGHT!!! then change it! It bothers me how some people get on their high horse about it, when a lot of people are here losing weight because of how they look rather than being motivated by health fitness etc- and why shouldnt they if they want to.

I'm a makeup artist and in my opinion its personal preference. My husband is happy to see me with out makeup on, and I wear very little to work but I also know how to aply it to enhance my features and it makes me feel more confident. A lot of my clients say they just dont know how to apply it , or they apply it too…

This thread made me cry a little, I am so sorry for you and I know how you feel. I mc at 9 weeks, and had been trying for a year and I saw mine too. Physically and emotionally both some of the worst pain I have ever had. Its so difficult, that was Easter weekend and I am really struggling every day to get past it. As for…

I started on MFP to help keep track of my calories but since I have been used to it I now take more notice of my macros, like protein and fat etc and now find I eat more healthily as I like to keep these in the green too, and I find I stay fuller. My tip would be to record even if you know you are way over, and have had…

OMG you look insanely good, I am 20lb lighter but would much rather look like you, you have a fabulous shape! Youre stunning! Well done xx

If it's something you do then it's a really hard habit to break and takes a lot of willpower. I was a terrible binge eater and it was either extreme diet, or binge. This is what I have done to try and stop my bingeing, which on the whole, I have. I have had to change my thinking, and acknowledge what my triggers are. One…

can everyone else still see the pics? I would love to see them as inspiration as I have a c section pouch to get rid of! edited to add I can see the after pics on page 7 xx
-
wow! How much have you lost? How tall are you?
-
I agree with the above post too....when I eat my exercise cals back I dont lose, so I try to only eat half of them back. Without a heart rate monitor you dont know what youre actually burning so I think MFP may be inaccurate or I am not working hard enough or working out my cals right, I dont know, but I know that I eat…
