I guess I should also add, although to me it seems apparent, I am talking about processed sugars...not natural sugars from fruits and like things.

Thank you so much! I remember going off caffeine and alcohol I experienced a few withdrawal symptoms (more for the caffeine), but after about two weeks I felt amazing and had great clarity. Yes, I worried when posting this that I was not speaking to a "universally applicable" crowd, but everyone does have different needs…

Thank you! Yes, my psychiatrist specializes in Eating Disorders as well as Addictive Disorders. And part of why I developed an ED is because I have an Addictive Personality Complex (as well as anxiety and depression). A lot of factors have to be considered in my recovery, unfortunately (I'm kind of a hot mess...LOL). And I…

And sorry, the Erectile Dysfunction comment was just a bad joke. :/

When I say a while ago, I mean when my recovery started five months ago. I was diagnosed about two years ago. Thanks! Peace :)

Thanks, that was actually something I was considering as well which is why I have put it off during the past five months of my recovery. I have been working with two therapists as well as my psychiatrist who all agree that I have put a lot of focus into learning how to eat again and getting proper calories and have had…

Yes, I'm currently recovering from a 6 year struggle with bulimia and binge eating disorder with anorexic tendencies. Not Erectile Dysfunction... Peace :)

Thanks! Yeah, if I get negative slack from this post it's not my biggest worry. People have their opinions on dieting and "fad" diets and dieting with an ED and psychiatry...and yeah people are basically opinionated. LOL. Yeah, I tried to go cold turkey on candies and baked goods and such before and I found that my…

I went jogging today for the first time in over a year. I would have definitely been eaten by a zombie if this were the apocalypse, but I jogged. Some intermittent walking. I felt like I was back in middle school and 270 pounds again. LOL, but I jogged.

Hi, welcome to MFP! Sorry to hear about your PCOS, but I know regular exercise has helped people I know with it manage it. I have a similar weight goal as you do, for different reasons, but maybe we can be buddies and support each other! Feel free to add me. Peace :)

9/23: 60 minutes of Yoga 9/24: 38 minutes of Yoga 9/25: Nada. Busy helping Dorothy, the dog I took in off the street the night before, get cleaned up and healthy. 9/26: 30 minutes of Yoga interrupted by puppy cuddles and a 45 minute Walk. 9/27: About 75 minutes of community Yoga and took Dorothy on a 30 minute walk. Yay…

The spreadsheet is awesome! I think I might take advantage of that. Other than that, are we posting daily or weekly?

I love this. 1) I am passionate and opinionated.. 2) I am independent and free-spirited. 3) I am fearless in love. 4) I am kind, caring, and loyal (I just made myself sound like a dog, but that's not the worst thing). 5) No one can ever tell if my eyes are blue, brown, or green. Hazel eyes for the win, y'all.

Yay! I love Instagram too! I've actually been on this kind of crazy road trip around the US, so I have some great pictures of nature, and food, and of course me hiking in the Grand Canyon! Feel free to follow me, my username is the same, tehmurphygrace. I'm excited to start posting pictures about my road to better fitness.

Hi Hi, My name is Mariah. My goals aren't really set in place so far on how much I want to lose/when. My main goal right now is just to get more active so I can feel more energized and reap the physical and biochemical benefits that exercise will have for my body. Looking forward to everyone meeting their goals! Peace :)

A little helpful. It's good to know that I can adjust my preferences in settings. I figure then to know what would work best for me is to see a nutritionist or physician (or both!) and discuss my goals more thouroughly. And for the most part I weigh and plan out most of my meals already and I know to keep healthy snacks…
