  • Congratulations and well done! Here's to keeping up the good work :drinker:
  • I forgot to report my Wednesday session - OMG I was sooo ready to give up even before I hit the half way mark (and I've no idea why really) but I stuck it out. I love it when I hear 'get ready for you second to last run' once I hear that I know I can finish it  I'm repeating week 1 just so I can build up my stamina…

  • My 2nd session is now over and done with - phew. I managed 3.12km today (didn't take notice of my first session). I think I'll do week 1 twice just to build up my stamina!

  • I'm doing this on the treadmill - with the hope that I will eventually run outdoors! I was absolutely knackered after the first session and I'll be doing it again tonight. Its a shame that the music can't be my own - I think I would 'enjoy' it so much more - oh well

  • I'll give up snacking on a piece of chocolate on an evening!
  • CW - 210 Waist - 43 inches Hips - 49 inches Left and Right thigh - 28 inches
  • My goal is to be able to buy UK size 14 clothing and be able to shop in some of the 'skinnier' shops! I'm not to focussed on a single number - I know my weight will fluctuate not only day by day but week by week but as long as I can keep in the clothing size I will be one happy person Good luck everyone!
  • When I eat a sasuma I peel every bit of pulp off each segment! It takes me about 30 minutes to eat it - my family can't believe it! I stopped eating oranges before hitting my teens because I'd be there for an hour! I like to stroke my partners lips with my thumb as it relaxes me - needless to say it does not relax him!
  • I can totally relate to your worries. I joined my gym back in May weighing 229 and I also worried about judgements but I have to say I did and still do as others have pointed out - put my music on and do my session. A few months ago I started to do jogging on the treadmill (was always scared of this, imagining myself…
  • Fantastic work - well done on the loss and here's to you continuing with your small targets until you get to your big one! :drinker:
  • I get funny looks at work when I ask for the gully! Its a big sharp kitchen knife, apparently its something that miners used to say (my grandad was a miner) so its come down the generations!
  • Hello Iluvthe80s! I too am taking this as 'its got to be now'! Having been over weight all my life I want to now feel good about myself as I never have really. Happy to give you a kick, feel free to befriend me and GOOD LUCK
  • Great start and well done! Here's to lots more lbs coming off!
  • Although I 've never suffered from depression I have quite often been the victim of verbal abuse (by complete strangers and family!) and I am also guilty of comfort eating. I know the struggle to keep on going when you are facing those types of things so to then add depression into the mix - OMG I would say, continue using…
  • Great work and well done. It does make a big difference! :drinker:
  • PM sent - I would love to be involved
  • I'd be happy for any weigh in day - happy to go with the majority. Will this be a closed group or will we have to keep an eye out for a thread? I'm currently 219 and would aim to be 205. So does this mean that we are now offically in week 1? Thanks
  • Yes, I'd love to do this. Just in time for Christmas and all the parties! Let me know what the plan is
  • Feel free to add me. I'm just under 220 at the mo and my aim is to get below 200!
  • How about taking walks with your kids once a day? Walking laps in your garden/ yard to start slowly? How about an exercise DVD to do in your home? I understand food is more difficult but is there one day a week that is slightly less hectic that you could prepare a more healthy meal? Not to preach but its about little…
  • Congratulations on getting back into it. No doubt it'll be easier now you've got a plan in place. Good luck on you lifestyle journey
  • Fantastic job - well done. It's success stories like yours that keep me moving forward. You look amazing
  • I can't see how the size of the anchor in any way effects her doing her job. How can people say beauty comes in all shapes and sizes but obviously don't apply that sentiment to women on the TV. I might be a bit controversial here but I bet a male anchor wouldn't have been sent that email Double standards
  • How about putting less tempting things in your cupboard/ fridge for when you're snacking i.e. carrot sticks, peppers, celery etc and stop buying chocolate bars and keeping them in the house. Easier said than done I know but start with little changes - get snack size chocolate bars instead? I recently got a hypnotherapy cd…
  • You're definitely making great strides on your own - 15lbs is great. There is so much information on here and posting a topic with a question will get you lots of advice Good luck on your journey
  • Best of luck with your weight loss journey, as you say its different for everyone and this was the best thing for you. I hope you go from strength to strength
