10 weeks is a worry! I and get your worries. All I would say is - could you stick to that for a solid 10 weeks? I'm in the same position, although heavier, and my plan is to change my food up so its not the same thing day in and day out, eat lots of veg, I struggle to eat salad in the winter months (it just doesn't feel…

Ha ha! Totally agree!

What an opportunity! I'm sitting watching biggest loser right now, I would say go for it if that is what you want. Although it is edited beyond belief it does make people confront their demons and look at why they over eat. Good luck

Well Done. Fab work!

Good luck, it seems that its quite often a 'trying again' for me too! Need to keep on it this time. So far so good

I would say that anything works as long as you are moving :) to lose weight you need to be eating at a deficit I find that zumba is best done at home as I have no rhythm! Good luck

I agree with Zac775 about needing to keep busy although I can totally relate to eating out of boredom. Could you be doing something at the same time as watching TV? some form of exercise such as small weights, squats, lunges, step etc - something that still allows you to watch your shows but takes your mind off eating?…

Good target and good luck! Hope to see you in just under a year having hit your goal ! :)

I've had this for a few years now and just quietly put up with the pain, until about 3 months ago when I invested in a night brace off Amazon. It works great; its not the easiest thing to get used to (it took me about a week) but I'm pretty much pain free now - especially when I get up first thing in the morning! Bliss :)…

Can't see how this game ends with a winner if there is just one tally going? Is it just the sex of the final person putting in 1000? 2

I agree with the above post. I would also suggest changing up your workouts so that your body doesn't get used to it, keep it mixed up so that your body has to work Good luck and keep up the good work!

I wouldn't miss a meal to make up for the choc fountain - just continue on with the plan. Mistakes will happen during this period and realistically the rest of your life so its nothing in the scheme of things To appease most people on here I would suggest calling it a 'healthy eating plan' :) I'm doing something similar…

Congrats! Keep up the good work :D

Wow, impressive! I worry about 2 steps and going face first!

I would be more inclined to say it was the trainers and it would be better to invest in a better pair. Do you usually wear trainers? It could be that you just need to get used to them if you don't? If you get a new pair I would look for some that has padding around the ankle area. I would also advise not to wear a flat…

Have you tried different seasonings/ marinades? I've just had a mojito lime seasoning mix from Tesco that was delicious, I also often use a nando sundried tomato and basil madinate - both delicious.

Although there is lots to learn, you'll figure it out along the way, congratulations on starting on your journey. Best of luck to you! :drinker:

Welcome back Lifeisspiffy - hope you had a lovely time. I've got 3 days off work this week (Wed- Fri) can't wait! We'll likely be out and about so hopefully I'll get a fair bit walking in and exercise at home rather than at the gym during these days. I'm aiming to get 4 hours of exercise in at home and then anything I do…

So, had a gain this week, although it was expected due to TOM  I'll be starting my slim in 6 tonight and I'm planning to download a couple of apps for the my ipad which are 30 challenges of squats and crunches so we'll see how that goes. I've also just invested in a medicine ball so that will come in handy with the…

well done, great inspiration!

Good work everyone - hope you all had some sort of success. I managed to stay the same which I'll look on as a positive! After work today I'm going out to get a medicine ball to help with toning my arms and I'll be incorporating this into my workouts. I'm also hoping to buy a new pair of running shoes - not that I'm a…

I was just short of 4 hours (3 and a hours managed) so I'll be working to hit the 4 hours this week, but will happily work towards another target/ challenge that the group comes up with. I've got no plans for this week, I've got a few days off work during the first week in August but I'll hopefully be getting some walking…
