I don't think the above post necessarily means they are pirated copies - like I said in my post there are millions of free books available through the Kobo and Kindle websites. I have also only purchased a handfull of books as I'm taking advantage of reading new authors for free - legally
-
I was also dead against e-readers, always saying 'they are not a book'. There is nothing better than the smell of a brand new book  However; my book collection was growing and growing and my space to keep them was dwindling so I got myself a Kobo and I must say I love it! I still read 'proper' books in either hard…

I have one also but think I'm definitely in the 'gullible' group! You only ever see people who already have abs like a washboard on the advertisements etc so maybe its a tool to keep the ones you have defined. I certainly don't think they are for overweight people like myself

Today I'll stay on track because I'm starting to see some good losses and I don't want to undo any of the work! Good luck everyone

I'm a Pepsi person although in the diet form. Diet Pepsi wasn't as popular in the UK as Coke and Diet Coke. Not that I drink much fizzy drinks now a days

Everyone falls off and some point you're doing the right thing and getting right back on the horse. I find the longer you leave getting back into the swingof things the harder it is to actually start ago so well done for drawing a line under your bad week. Here's to another 8.8 pounds in the next few weeks :drinker:

Hi Off10h8ed Sorry you are seeing the results you hoped to be seeing. I was in a similar position and hoped my weight would drop off without me having to do anything! I've joined a few groups on here which are really good for motivation and include small (and sometimes big challenges). Some of them are time limited but you…

Wow - very jealous of those tickets - they're fantastic! I'm up in Newcastle, I passes the swiss team on Sunday morning while out and about, they were all in their track suits - was very impressed

Congratulations! Fantastic motivation for others

I find that putting music on helps. Also I'll do some squats or crunches during ad breaks helps - at least its something

I think you just need number 6! You'd soon forget what was being spoken about even if it was very positive and about you!

Good morning Lynda I'm at 226 at the moment and aiming to get below the 200's as a first major goal before I decide where I want to go from there. There's a group called 'Get out of the 200's' that you might find helpful. Good luck on your journey. Feel free to add me

I agree, I include my house-cleaning as I don't do a thorough top to bottom clean every week (my house isn't minging - honestly!) so I feel I definitely burn more calories that I usually would. If its just a light clean I'm doing then I tend not to include these.
-
This sounds just like what I need! I'm definitely up for it.
-
Please add me in Thanks

Although I wasn't bullied by any one/ group of people I got called names throughout school. Although overweight I wass quite active at school, playing on the netball and badminton teams. Having always been overweight my own mother tended to be the worst!! Also strangers (more so when I was young) but even now when on night…
