Well done for signing up! :drinker: I ran my first ever 5k in May, also Race for Life and although I thought I would die doing it I have to admit I loved it and will definitely be doing more  I didn't change anything the day before, eat normally and on the morning I had some breakfast - cereal I think! Take a bottle…

I started this just over a week ago and I'm in my week 2 of start it up. I'm generally doing this in the mornings alongside gyme sessions on an evening. I was quite surprised how much I sweat during this first session as it doesn't look like it is that intensive but it does make you work!

Congratulations on your loss, fantastic work. I agree with you said even though it is sometimes so hard to think or believe Keep upi the good work :drinker:

Hi ekisselbach How are you finding this? I've just ordered the dvd and I'm hoping it will arrive in the next couple of days. I'm looking forward to starting it. Happy to support you if you are back into it

I've just ordered this workout a couple of days ago and I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I've got myself in the right frame of mind to do this; I've been getting up earlier in preparation of doing it in the mornings (when I'm least motivated!) Have you started it? If so, how are you finding it?

 if only!

I'm a member at the Gateshead one and I have to say it is really good. there are lots of each piece of equipment and even when its busy I've never seen a queue for a bike or anything! I'm paying less than £12 per month and its excellent value for money. I'm not bothered about a pool or a sauna either so no big loss The…

Started week 3 on Sunday. I was very impressed that I ran for a full 3 minutes - never thought I had that in me AND TWICE!! I've got a late night tonight so if I don't manage to get to the gym I will go in the morning! 5 minutes! urgh God help me!

I'm doing this at the moment. I'm over 200lbs and was a bit like you and never thought I'd be a runner (well I'm still not - more of a jogger really!) but this app has been really helpful. I use it while in the gym on the treadmill; as I never ran beforehand I started off doing each week at least twice so that I felt more…

I completely slacked last week and didn't run at all. Jumped back into it this week but again on week 2. Week 3 starting next week - I'm finding it easier now I have mastered the art of running  bring on the time increments
-
Well done - I think it's great you were able to walk away - I would find it difficult to do!

I was having some discomfort in my left leg while running and after covertly watching real runners on the treadmills I've really taken notice of their technique and I've changed mind and I now no longer have any discomfort! As I've got this new technique I'm going to do week 2 again this week before moving onto week 3.…

Another session or 2 at week 2 til I progress to week 3. I'm still definitely feeling those extra 30 seconds per run! God knows what I'll be like on week 3!
-
Fantastic achievement - keep up the good work :drinker:

My goal is to get to 201 lbs I will achieve this by continuing with my minimum of 3 gym sessions a week and adding in an additional weekend session, progressing with my couch to 5K programme and eating healthily. My reward I already have in a sense in that I've got my Florida holiday booked for October so when I shrink new…

That just described me but I was on the treadmill  Wish I'd read that before I went - or maybe not on second thought
-
I'll be doing week 2 twice too, definitely felt those extra 30 seconds per run (well jog really!) but I got through - just have to do it again. :ohwell:
-
I'm still here

I'm moving up to week 2 tonight - good to know that its very similar to week 1 ! I've just signed up to do the Race for Life in May - my first ever 5k - so I'll be sticking to this like glue 4 minutes is fantastic - I hope to be there in no time
-
I'm still on week 1 (this is my second week at it). I'm sticking with this for this week and will start week 2 on Monday and see how far I get with that! I haven't listened to any of the other sessions yet (probably because I don't want to frighten myself!) what are the increments in the running parts on week 2? Thanks

Grand goal - and good luck
