One of the foods I use that are healthy and save money is dried beans and lentils. Yes they can take some time to cook but are great way to cut cost of meat and still get your protein. I also use the slow cooker a lot.

I usually pick one day a week to do weigh in and measurements. I do not like doing it daily because unless you are prepared for the daily fluctuation it can be very frustrating.

The main thing with this recipe is that if you can get a thinner peice of fish it works better then the thick steak like peices.

Orange Roughy is a type of fish though I have used cod with this and my friend also used rock fish. It works with any mild white fish so use what you can get that is my moto. It is super simple. I buy low fat feta and put that on the side. I have also gone to adding zuchini and yellow squash with it.

I like to sautee my zuchini and or squash. You can also roast veggies in the oven. I have done brocoli and cauliflower and they are amazing this way.

Make sure to do your measurements. There are some weeks when it does not feel like there has been any change but you really have lost inches. You have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat.

I am always trying to create new and healthy meals. You can add me if you want though I eat the same thing during the day so that i can allow for flexibility in the evenings. I am always up for trying some new things cooking.
