I can't decide if this thread is meant to be humourous or serious. Either way, I'm finding it interesting.

It wouldn't annoy me, and apparently, given my track record, doesn't annoy the people on my friends' list either. I'd presume they'd defriend me if it did.

It seems that it helps most people, the whole endorphin thing, but it doesn't help everyone. I remain one of those who isn't helped by exercising. Know, too, that what you eat can also heavily affect your depression. Oh... and if your depression is impacting your self care routines, I wouldn't call it mild.

What I want to know is what the heck is so appealing on that dam.

Moderation... and you don't have to worry about either extreme.

Wait, wait, wait.... I LOVE Brussels sprouts and asparagus!!! Edited because I can spell better the second time around.

I just think this woman is getting way too much attention for the entirely the wrong things.

Something to consider about bad tattoos. There are artistically badly done tattoos, and misspelled tattoos, and tattoos that will make absolutely no sene to you so you make fun of them, or think they're bad, or whatever. But the latter may not necessarily be a 'bad' tattoo in the same sense as the first two. I have two…

I think you're on the right track with saying that you need to work on your self confidence, because you are gorgeous, and you've got a great shape even if you are fat. But I also know that culture may have something to do with it as well. Simply put there are some places that are more fat positive than others. Where I…

This falls under the 'common sense is not so common' heading. Of course some people shouldn't wear certain types of clothing but there are a lot of people who don't understand that just because you can wear it, doesn't mean that you should wear it, or at least that you should wear it in public. I could care less what…

I hesitate at saying this because how I think it's going to sound, but if you don't like the calorie burn fitbit is giving you, delink it from MFP, because even if it is 50 percent off, it's still going to show you as netting too low.

Yes, I drink diet soda. Diet coke specifically. I don't consider it a 'dirty secret'. Whether it is bad for you or not is a hot topic. Personally, while I don't think it's good for you, I think it's pretty harmless unless you happen to be sensitive to the ingredients. I'm not. Of course, like all things, moderation is the…

Just a random thought for personal experience. Check the days you've felt down for your protein levels and where during the day you've eaten them. While carbs can give me an up, I'm usually most disagreeable when I've not had balanced protein throughout the day.

One thing I've learned from researching this topic and other similar ones is that I end up spending a lot of time only to find out that what I thought in the first place was correct.

What's the point of exercise? This is a question I often ask myself, though not in the same way as the OP.

the men?

Don't know. Don't care.

While I understand the point Freeman is attempting to make with that perspective it does miss the point that there was a need for Black History month when it was created and that no harm can come from dedicating a period of time on which to focus the spotlight on a faction of history that was actively ignored for far too…

I find myself wondering what the heck your sister was like before the wedding plans came in to play. She is most definitely vying for the gold medal in the Bridezilla competition. Is there anyone with any sway with her? Fiance? Parents? Clearly her friends have had it with her. Anyway, if it were my sister my response…

MFP name... I haven't seen any other variations of it, or name that include Familiar so, not very. My RT name... not particularly common, and less so with my spelling of it. Rhonnda

Uh... exhaustion and eyesight dizziness (which I think I understand) and your go to solution is quit diet coke? This doesn't sound logical. By all means, cut diet coke from your diet, but I would suggest that you should also talk to a doctor about what you're feeling as it could be early symptoms of a number of things.

A good book. But I think I could get really happy about that pizza.

In my mind, there are two different types of depression. One I refer to as circumstantial, meaning that it's brought on by tangible things. The other just is. Life can be wonderful and depression still exists. For the latter I would say get you to a psychiatrist, not a general practitioner, simply because they don't have…

This is a lovely thing that you do. ~smiles~ My husband lives with a form of leukemia, it's been under control for around ten years now.

If you're overhanging your bra, you need a bra that fits properly. I'm fat. Wear a 44G and nothing overhangs my bra.

I don't think any method of weight loss is actually cheating because there is no 'easy' route, there are downsides to every single one. Things like diet pills, shakes, surgery, etc, are just tools that are sometimes needed. Honestly, I've thought long and hard about the surgery and even now I wonder if I shouldn't go that…

Two. One represents a longstanding personal struggle. The second as a memorial to my mother, who probably would not have appreciated my getting a tattoo. ~chuckles~ But she'd've liked the design. I'm considering another, also a memorial of sorts.
