Google Tabata Intervals. I do them on my 100lb heavy bag, and also with a rowing maching. Good stuff for people like me who hate steady state cardio.

Everclear. I figure if I'mma do it, I'mma do it right. Don't worry about the 190cal/ounce... ...it doesn't take many ounces folks...lol. :)

Yep, I had a 700cal burrito for lunch (mostly steak and guacamole) at 2pm, a maple donut and milk around 4pm, and am in the middle of my 1100cal dinner consisting mostly of chicken breast, with some gravy, broccoli, and butter to garnish it off. And I still have 700cal for desert, if I feel like it. NO WAY you can eat…

And: Hit the nail on the head. You think so? Go search previous IF threads...from say, about six months ago. This one is not only tame, and civil...but is actually kind of boring. Ooooh, or even better! Search through my old posts for threads touching on dating and feminism. Good stuff there. /sigh, I miss the old days! At…

There, I added some words in bold to make your statement more valid, and less judgmental. Here's a couple facts for you. First, exercise is irrelevant to weight loss (note, I didn't say irrelevant to overall health). So, the lack of exercise was never your problem as far as weight loss is concerned. Second, eating small…

Of course he hasn't. He's a troll that has latched onto the idea that something he has no knowledge of is negative, opened his mouth without any education on the subject, and is now defending his false perspective with ghost arguments. The majority (if not all) of these incredibly lean, incredibly strong, incredibly…

Does the Playboy channel count as 'TV'?? Kidding! For me...it's superbike racing, and if you don't count that a sport...watch this: http://youtu.be/Ph0SjLC_lqk Yes...180mph+ through city streets...and more. Oh...pay close attention to 3:47-3:50. I also enjoy the dirt late model series. I like UFC as well. And...hockey.

The most incredible core exercise in the world is the properly performed barbell squat. Barbell deadlifts are a close second.

And this silliness did indeed follow. To those of you that can't seem to comprehend IF...it isn't about 'starving' (in fact, most people that IF naturally consume higher calories than those that just calorie count), nor is it just about losing weight. Many people feel ravenous all day when they eat a morning meal. I am…

Excellent post. And now I shall go read the rest of the absolute silliness that's bound to follow...lol.

Heavy lifting (i.e. lifting enough where you can only complete 5-8 reps) is actually far better for what most people think of as 'toning' than any form of cardio. Heavy lifting with moderate cardio thrown in for heart and lung health...well, that's where it's at :). And I promise, you won't 'bulk'...unless you have…

Where are you ladies? Are there no men at all? I was officially proposed to today, so I'm off the market...but you are both more than attractive enough to approach :).

Umm...what was I saying?? Oh, groceries...one trip. Absolutely :).

Hey buddy :) I suggested a weight she could do 12 reps with simply to iron down form...starting right off in the max effort/4-8 rep range can be a little tough on someone new, and without a dedicated and experienced spotter...could make injury more likely. Within 2wks she should be pushing into the max effort/8 rep range,…

Dav knows his stuff...absolutely. For myself and women I work with, I usually do it a little differently though. I've found that if the weight isn't quite heavy enough (an empty bar for example is often too light), they have a harder time with form than they would with a little bit of weight. I usually start women with a…

You're welcome :). And thank you! No worries :). Just remember, body rows don't target the muscles you'll need to do pull ups. The best exercise to use to build strength for a pull up, is called a 'negative pull up'. What that is, is basically the second half of a pull up. Using a chair, stool, or other platform, you stand…

I just caught this post. Oddly enough, I just recently sold my Taurus. Chances are I wouldn't have been rolling up for a date in it (though I have in the past). More likely on my bike. But you're wrong about the 'He's done' part...unless she's the one that ends it due to the family car I happened to be driving. Her loss.

Read the middle paragraph :). 10 minutes HIIT (I like racquetball, heavy bag work, or a rowing machine), then my approximately 1hr lifting session, then 1-2 10 minute HIIT sessions to follow up. My work is active, so on rest days (I rest four days a week)...I don't exercise at all.

Lol, true. Rhetorical question, tone versus text =p. For me, the height thing is a matter of ergonomics, rather than intimidation lol. I'm not a tall man, 5'7ish plus. Standing on tip toes to kiss a 5'11" girl is...awkward. Picking up a 5'1" girl to kiss me however, is perfectly natural. And then she can bend BOTH her legs…

If you couldn't figure it out from the little I wrote...a more in depth explanation won't be worth the effort lol.

Just truth hun :).

An incredible level of intelligence, personality, compassion, empathy, generosity, beauty... ...would you like me to continue? Miss etoiles_argentees is a catch. Period.

In my research, it has to do with hormonal response, and how that response is triggered by type of exercise. Heavy, high intensity lifting triggers your body to do certain things. High intensity, short duration cardio triggers your body to do certain things as well. The same for long duration low intensity cardio. The…

This is it, exactly. Eat: Make sure you're eating ENOUGH. Do not under eat...do not over eat. Facilitate this with a good calorie tracker...but make damn sure your inputs are realistic, or your target calories WILL be wrong. What you eat is important to overall health...but has little impact on how much fat you lose, how…

Men, aren't. Boys, are.

Mine are ok...but they're not usually green like this:

Here you are, a full body home workout that incorporates the entire list. I used this workout two years ago to go from 220lbs, to 175ish lbs...in three months, eating mostly Taco Bell and chicken lol (yes, my calories were tracked and under maintenance). Here's an example. Its obvious which of the pictures were 220lbs, and…

Its not about obsessing over women's physiques. It's about combatting a very real misconception that WOMEN have regarding their own physiques. I can't count (literally, I'm too stupid to count that high) how many women I've tried to explain to, and failed...that lifting heavy weights, with little to moderate cardio, will…

Sure I would. Well, if the woman I was dating asked. First, it's not like it won't grow back if necessary at some future point. Second...well, she'll be asking for it back pretty damn quickly. I'm simply not a pretty man. But then again, I'm pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating my significant other in a…

Well, if that's what floats your boat... Try to make sure they're at least willing though...you know?? :)
