I'm on day 44/60 of Insanity and it's GREAT! I love it. I've done Tae Bo and Turbo jam in the past...both gave me great results, but nothing like Insanity! Check my pic <to see 1 month difference from Insanity. I have missed some days due to a pulled muscle from sports and I also have 2 small kids (almost 4 and almost 2)…

I'm 5'8" ( a touch more, actually) and weigh 144 lbs. I wear a size 6 pant &/or a size 28" jean. I'm a pear shape. I don't find sizes vary as much as some of the others do; when I'm shopping I grab both a size 8 and a 6 & 95% of the time one or the other will fit. On top I'm usually a size small, sometimes a med - but I…

Indeed!!

^Same here ^ I either plan for it with my daily calorie consumption or I will have some Diet Pepsi which takes the craving away for me. If I'm craving something sweet (usually I crave salt - chips, etc) I will have a mug of low-cal hot chocolate made with 95% water, 5% milk.

You can & you WILL!!!

67 lbs is WONDERFUL. That takes a lot of motivation, commitment, & drive! Don't sell yourself short. As for your "it seems I've not done enough" comment - everyone's weight loss/exercise journey is different; it's not about comparison, but about being happy with yourself and feeling good about yourself. If you had told me…

I'm a 33 year old Mum of 2 - my oldest will be 4 in April, my baby will be 2 in July. I lost around 90 lbs after my 2004 pic (Tae Bo 6x a week), then gained *almost* all of it back with my first pregnancy in '08 - gained 77 lbs with my son. Lost it all by 15 mos, just in time to get pregnant again! I gained 54 lbs with my…

I find there's lots of Canadians from the east, but not many from the west. I'm on Vancouver Island :)

I'm 5'8" and weigh 144... Ideally I'd like to lose another 4-6 lbs but I'm not going to kill myself over it. I do Insanity 6x per week (I'm on Day 3 of Month 2) and have really started to tone and build muscle. I'm much more focused on my measurements, BF %, and what size I am wearing than what the scale says. I have…

I'm 5'8"... Here I am, in Feb 2004, weighing in at about 225 lbs: (I weighed 142 lbs by Feb 2005 for my beach wedding in Mexico) -had my son April 2008 & weighed 232 at 9 mos pregnant -had my daughter July 2010 & weighed 211 at 9 mos pregnant Here I am, 2 kids later, at about 157 (July 2011): And here I am at 144 lbs and…

I'm a pear that's *almost* an hour glass. My measurements are 37" - 28" - 39". BUT I don't think I'll ever truly be an hour glass as my waist is 28", but my thigh is around 20"... GAH!!! I have NO boobs. They're totally gone. After nursing 2 babies (and still am), you'd think there'd be something to them... nope. I'm a B.…

Thanks for this!!! I just calculated my TDEE and it's 2450! WHOA! I've been sticking to 1200 cals MFP has put me on, and I burn 600 - 850 calories daily from my Insanity work out... and MAN I am HUNGRY like the wolf in the evenings... I eat back *some* of my work out calories but not nearly (obviously) what I should. I…

FANTASTIC results! Are you kidding? You look awesome! I'm just into Month 2 of Insanity which is similar (I've heard) to P90X & LOVE it. Pictures are the BEST motivator EVER - you can actually SEE the change. Your waist and butt look KILLER! Keep it up, you're rocking it!!

I just posted my 1 month before & after shots of INSANITY... I have another month to go, but there's definite improvement!! It's here in the Success Stories Board...

*bump* Just saw someone asking about Insanity results...

Thanks peeps! I can't believe I have any sort of abs after 2 kids... and I noticed in my original post I said I had my daughter in 2008 as well as my son... WOW, that would have been INSANE! She was born July 2010!! LOL I swear it's all the plank positions and ab moves that have done it... I'm sure the high knees &…

off to Google Tiffany Rothe...! OOoooh, I'm going to be incorporating her "Ballerina Legs" work out into my routine! Thanks :)

I hear you guys! Currently I'm 36-29-38... but it's only been in the last couple months that I've substantially lost inches in my hips, and I contribute it to the Insanity work out. I always take pants in, it's the only way that I can get them to fit well and not look silly. I have NO chest anymore and I too wish I could…

I have also been told that diet pop can make cellulite more visible - whether it's the aspartame or what, I'm not sure... I still have some spots on my thighs and hips that I'm working on too...

There is an old song by Gene Pitney called, "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" that my parents listened to... my brother and I, for YEARS, sang it as, "The man who shot Flibbety Flabbett"... Johnny Rivers sings, "Secret Agent Man" & again, my brother and I thought it was "Secret Asian Man"... sigh.

I'm 5'8" and right now weigh 146. My goal is 140, then we'll see. I'm not as hung up on the scale as I used to be - I'm fitting into size 28 jeans and size 6 clothes currently as I've been doing Insanity and other muscle building cardio sessions so I think I'm building muscle and toning more... My lowest weight was 137…

I've had a couple friends comment on my recent weight loss - not so much the weight per se, but since I'm doing Insanity, I think I'm becoming more muscular and toning more. My GF said my legs are "way" smaller than they were before (I'm a pear shape & tend to have thicker legs) so that alone makes it worth it for me - I…

Original Start weight after the birth of my 2nd child: 194 lbs (July/10) SW: 155 lbs (Jan 1/12) CW: 147 lbs (Jan 22/12) GW: 140 lbs (by April 2/12 - my son's 4th birthday) Height: 5'8" The scale has stopped for me lately, but I'm still seeing results in the fit of my clothes. I'm on day 17 of 60 days of Insanity so I think…

I took a few in my sports bra & work out capris as part of my "Before" for my Insanity tee shirt earning once I've done my 6x a week for 60 days commitment of Insanity! I think it's a good way to go because you can look at yourself a little more objectively than just in the mirror. Plus, the changes occur so slowly that…

I was exactly the same!!! I breastfed both my kids for a year (my daughter is 18 mos and I'm still nursing her) & when I delivered my son, I was 232 lbs (starting weight 158). When I got pregnant with my daughter (my son was 18 mos old) I weighed 156. Gained 54 lbs with her, and lost it by 10 mos post-delivery. I am…

FANTASTIC advice! I've learned that the hard way... MFP was giving me 1200 calories and then I burn 1000 doing Insanity & I wasn't even eating my 1200 calories - scale stalled BIG time. I'm only 9.5 lbs away from my goal and I upped my calories so I am eating around 1700 calories a day now & guess what? Scale started…
-
THANK YOU for posting this. This is what I've been going through. I have 9.5 lbs to my goal & have upped my work out intensely (from Tae Bo to Insanity) and kept my calories at what MFP has put me - 1200. Usually, a little lower. Well, I burn close to 1000 calories with Insanity and when you mentioned your Net & that was…

I don't like water much either... and, in all honesty, when I went through my 97 lb loss in 2004 (it took 13 mos to lose it all), I maybe drank an 8 oz glass a day. Make that FORCED myself. After having 2 kids & nursing them both, water became a MUST for me. I still don't like it much at all but since I'm so close to my…
