I AM getting a scale. I stated that in my first post.... it is something we need if we are going to make this happen. However, I want to know what to do in the meantime. Thank you for the advice so far. I've just been eyeballing it and hoping for the best.

I was totally thinking the same thing! I watch Fringe now since my TV selections have matured... (ahem.. maybe not)... and I am a huge fan of Joshua Jackson.

I have an aunt who uses them. She always looks very tired and unhealthy. Perhaps you could look into finding a nutritionist or personal trainer who could help you find the right exercise and diet for your body?

After I stopped smoking was when I gained my weight, too. Good luck to you!

My doctor is always willing to have me step on the scale if I drop by real quick.

i'll bite.. i need a pick me up this morning. Currently, I only like my eyes. Hopefully that will change as I lose about 10-15 lbs and shape up a little.

I am just getting started at MFP, but I will weigh myself weekly, on Sundays. Though, I am going to try very hard not to get discouraged by the scale. I am going to pay more attention to how my pants fit, than what the scale says.
