no one said it would be easy. These are the times when you have to remember "what" you are trying to accomplish. It's not a 9-5 job, it is a complete change in your life. Sorry if this is too harsh, but I also need a kick in the pants sometimes.

I'm not having as much trouble with the running as I am the weather. I'm on Week 7 Day 1. Last week the wind was so strong I could not finish my second run. (I do it 2 times in a row). my family likes to have a big dinner, so I try to leave enough for a big meal. I try to space my calories trough out the day so that I am not so hungary and that I don't pig out at dinner.

I am 1 pound away from my next goal. I am going to treat myself to a pedicure. I am going to get a massage on my next one. Treat myself to a mini vacation for another one. Good Luck!

I have just finished Week 6 of c25k. I also have large breasts, but I wear 2 sports bras. Started as 38FFF, they have gotten a little smaller since losing weight. do those natural sunlight lamps work for this? It may be something to try if it works, have lunch under the "light".

I had also read that soda (any, not just diet soda) can affect the absorption of calcuim into the bones - over time.

When I started drinking Diet Coke (many years ago) I didn't like the taste of it either. I trained myself to like it over time. I realized that when I started to drink green tea to replace the Diet Coke. I didn't really care for the taste of green tea. But it took less than 2 weeks to get use to drinking it.

Not a problem I am having but you could try many kinds of nuts and power bars.

I have hypo thyroid, not hyper. Mine is slower but not by a lot. dry skin and a lot of sleeping is associated with it.

I've read the side stitch could be due to shallow breathing. concentrate on the your breathing - blow out a candle, slower and intake same. Good Luck on the 5k!

remember sweets are a "treat" not a snack or meal. I can only have a "treat" if I have accomplished a long term goal. Not just getting to the end of the day with out messing up.

tracyrocksss - your weight is only ONE thing about the whole you. Do not focus on that one thing for every little bit of your self esteem. You could probably list of 10 things easily of the things you like to do, the things you have accomplished and the kind person you are. Then it would take about 10 minutes to list…

I monitor it several times a week. I have an official weigh in once a week in the morning, after my workout, before my breakfast and shower. Specific enough? :tongue:

My tips for you: Log Everything start a little bit at a time until you can do it well learn a little about nutrition, not just diet exercise, start where you don't over do it and increase as you can allow yourself to make a mistake, pick up start again challenge your self, set small goals as well as big ones GOOD LUCK!

I don't have a treadmill either. I am new to running (week 5 day 1 of c25k). This winter I am going to try running on my mini tramp, when I am not able to go outside.
