I find the best way to remember, is to just not care. (it doesn't matter any more :noway: )

YOU are Amazing! Way to go!

this may not be popular, but Ditch the chips! There are a ton of different options. Once you get over not having them regularly, it will be a treat to have them once in a while. And you may find after a while that you don't like them so much any more. With salsa there is nothing better though.

bump, thanks!

Thanks for the new friends. I did accidentally delete someone's request on my smart phone. Sorry. If you still want to be friends, could you try again?

bump - right now I live by this one: "A year from now, you would have wished you started last year"

People fear change and rebel at the mindset needed for true change. So they find a way to make it so miserable in their mind that it can become an excuse to not do it. Then they plant those seeds of discontent in your brain to make it so they are not alone in their thinking - everyone wants to fit in. So now that you have…

my first impression of your post is that I think your BF is immature. He needs to appreciate you and not spout off anything that comes to mind.

<<bump>> These are too long to look at right now, always like to be informed and make my own decisions

There is not magic answer, and there never will be. What works for me today, may not work for me tomorrow. Having said that, I like to fill up on water and veggies. Sometimes popcorn with no butter. Yes, it is not generally what I am craving, but it fills the void with things that should not harm me. If I find I'm getting…

for most of my first year of running, I didn't run with music at all. I have recently started to listen while running. I have not had music in any of the 6 5K's I've run. It's a short amount of time and I am usually checking out the course or the people and dodging other people feet to keep my mind occupied. What ever…

I'm struggling too right now, but one thing I'm continuing to try is setting mini goals, mini challenges. This helps. With all of the holiday food, I try not to beat myself up when I have a mini fault. Good Luck!

Good Luck!, Slow and steady. You can do it.

bump - good information to know

6 here, 1 more there, another 2 next time. It adds up. Great job!

I'm not an expert, but I play one on the internet. I think if you are hungry, eat.

Yeah, at 48 my skin sags above the knees (really!), and now I saw it sag under my butt too. Isn't it terrific that it does? I'm as vain as the next person, but I have put in a lot of effort to get to that sagging. It's all about strategically placed clothing and lighting now.

I would have thought there would be another Toni somewhere in here. But page by page, my search did not see one. Not short for Antonette or anything else either. :flowerforyou:

this month last year I started the C25K program. I think that is the perfect way to start running and I have since started a couple other people on the program. I can't believe it has been a year. I don't know what I would do without it now. It gets harder and then easier. Good Luck!

I wear 2 bras. The first one is a little snugger than the second one. But not too tight, cause we must also BREATH!

not easy for you or them. However I hear a lot of excuses from them. I would not pay for any of it. If they want to do it, they have to pay for it. Their commitment will have a whole other aspect if it comes from their own pocket.

sydnisd183; Yeah, I would get rid of my tv in a minute if my husband wouldn't give me tons of grief. caraselite; sounds more like torture with the rubber band, but who knows, it could work
