Eat, Pray, Love. Finishing up the India "book".

I can't eat it plain ... I've used it to replace sour cream in tuna casserole, and that's about the only substitution I can stand the flavor of (just because there are other flavors to kind of hide the very tartness of it). I tried just on top of a taco or whatever, and I just didn't like it. But I do second making dips…

GOOD. I get my customizable amounts (not macros - things like fiber, sugar, sodium, saturated fat) from a different website, and they suggest 64g of sugar for me, so a banana a day doesn't hurt me. I did it for awhile. I go back and forth. I try not to eat the same thing all the time, so for awhile I'll have a banana every…

I'm waiting for my oatmeal to digest, then I'm going for a run and 30 minutes of cardio after that ... then I'm going to cook bacon & eggs as promised for my boyfriend (I'll have a protein bar). Then we're going to lounge around a little, order a heart-shaped pizza, then go to the Dallas Zoo ... come home, get cleaned up,…

WATER IS WATER. Anything that doesn't do what WATER does, is NOT water. Coffee has caffeine which has opposite effects than water. It dehydrates you, it gives you a little boost, it can give you the runs, etc.

- 12 cups of water MINIMUM daily - I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks most days - Very little fast food - When I eat out, I try to stay within my calories and pick a healthy veggie with chicken or fish - No more eating things before I log them (unless I already know how many calories it has) - Very little soda - I mostly drink…

My mom used to say don't eat beef with dairy because you won't absorb the calcium. My mom ALSO says don't eat too much estrogen because it "screws up your hormones". I got the third degree when my mom looked over my protein bars and was concerned because I'm also on birth control (which isn't high estrogen, for her…

It provides oxygen to your muscles It burns fat It builds muscle It makes you stronger It gives you energy It makes your bones stronger It soothes achiness Why would you NOT want to? For breakfast, oatmeal, then I'm going to run (I run best after oatmeal for some reason! lol) ... Once I'm home, bf will probably be awake. I told bf we'd do bacon & eggs, so that will be post-workout breakfast. For lunch, we're doing heart shaped pizza ... then the zoo. Probably some fruit and almonds for snack, then…

Try different types of fiber. Veggies, fruits, fiber one muffins are SUPER yummy (and go through ME quick), coffee, LOTS of water will help too - make sure your pipes are coated with water so they can flow easily ... nuts, seeds ...

I've never been one to expect gifts on valentine's day. My man takes me out for an expensive dinner and we usually have an activity - this year we're going to the zoo since I haven't been in about 18 years - and we just enjoy the day. We treat it more like a second anniversary in the year. And I refuse to wear red on…

Once a week, sometimes twice. Typically I alternate between Friday and Monday, sometimes both, depending on a few things.

It's kind of a no brainer.

This past Thursday, I got off my arc trainer and went to get wipes ... I wiped down the machine and was wondering why it didn't seem as sweaty as it did when I had gotten off. Then I looked up and realized it was the one next to the machine I had just been on. Sooo I ended up wiping down two machines. :]

Most everyone in my family who has died has died from something that was health related (obviously) ... heart attacks, cancer ... my parents have always been SUPER obese and I refuse to die from something I can prevent by healthy living. I want to be a healthy example for my children like my parents weren't for me. And I…

If you were constantly drinking water, you wouldn't have to do that. I just feel that's a wasted practice. Keep a water bottle on you and just drink water all day. When you're hungry, you'll know it's real hunger. For me, it's not going over board. When I treat myself, I tend to go overboard. :\

I'm a bit of both. I typically abstain from alcohol unless I know I can only have ONE. I'm a moderator because I like to have sweets every now and then, and I don't like to deprive myself. If I'm craving pizza for a few days, eventually, I'll just get it. But if it's a random craving and I'm perfectly, HONESTLY, happy with…

30 day shred. it's start with a low weight, but it will be great to build your endurance and give you a basic idea of how to lift weights once you graduate and want to go heavier (and you should go heavier - it will make you stronger, and build muscle that will burn fat FOR you even while your body is at rest). i also like…
