Yeah, I go by 1g per lb of lean mass as well. I aim for about 120g per day. You can browse my diary, it's open.

Girl, you are BANGIN'!

Sports bra, as short of shorts as you can handle (I wear biking shorts so they don't ride up as badly), hat, sunglasses, little spf depending on how long you're staying out. 30 minutes or less, you can forgo it. Your body can use the Vitamin D!

Don't keep it in your house. If you have to give your kids treats, give them healthier alternatives. Get trail mix that has a little bit of m&ms in them. It's much healthier for them, and if you have some, you're not eating just straight chocolate. Or you could try the organic aisle of candy in your grocery store. I know…

pizza if bf gets pizza, i have to at least have a bite. if he suggests we eat pizza and i have enough calories, I SAY YES. lol

So get up butt-*kitten* early, get your work out in, and that may motivate you to make smarter food choices throughout the day. If you're not motivated now, you're going to have to find something to keep you going.

Subway, Wendy's, Applebee's, Chili's is okay calorie-wise (they have the healthier options marked), IHOP has a healthy menu...

Just water. Anything with sugar or sodium, I don't count because it's either bloating you or dehydrating you, versus hydrating.

Definitely try to run it faster. You'll get a better calorie burn, and you'll build up your endurance so you can train for 10k or further!

chicken sandwich. add bell peppers and avocado. yum.

I work out anyway. I have myself convinced ('cause it's true!) that working out will give me energy. I always feel great afterwards, so it's worth it.

PUBLIC! It keeps me accountable, and I don't have to add someone for them to get ideas from my diary.

Don't give up what you want most, for what you want right now.

He's cheap. That's all there is to it. And if you disagree on such a big thing as that, I don't see a relationship being a possibility.

I'm going to say this and then be done with this thread. A lot of the girls at my gym are pretty modestly covered ... but when I worked out an all-girls gym, I took a turbo kick class once a week. My instructor (in fact, every instructor that taught there) would wear capris and a sports bra. I could ogle their abs and…

My man just trims and that's fine with me. I like myself bald down there but it's a smaller area than for a man, so I guess I'm just more realistic. I just think shaving it completely is trying to hard. Everyone knows it makes you "look bigger" so a man who feels he has to be bald down there ... he's got some…

Wow, fantastic progress! Keep it up, lady!

Everyone's DNA is different. I lose fairly easily by eating pretty balanced. I eat about the same amount of everything. I'm set at 40% carbs/30% protein/30% fat. So everything is pretty even. I always have a carb, protein, and veggie at my meals. Sometimes it's not balanced in my meals but it spreads out through the day.…

Um, I wouldn't say entirely. I mostly don't drink it 'cause it's a waste of 100+ calories. It's empty calories, and really the only time I drink it is if I have pizza (which is rare, but not as rare as you probably think). I just cannot eat pizza without it. I don't really like having caffeine in my body, so I try to drink…

Yep. I eat them. I plateaued for 2 months once I got halfway to my goal when I first joined MFP ... I ended up realizing I wasn't eating my exercise calories and was overestimating my calorie burn and underestimating my calorie intake. I started measuring and weighing my food, I got a hrm for better burn calculation,…

If you can't control it now, don't try to. Just don't buy it. Don't go near it. Don't have it around you. Moderation for me isn't necessarily a smaller serving. It's just how frequently I have that serving. Or make healthy alternatives. If you want ice cream, go for frozen yogurt. Don't buy a CARTON of it. Go to a shop…

It's very important. If you're sore, you should definitely rest. If you're not working out hard enough to get sore, you should be. If you're not sore, I would say work out.

A driving course that is 11 months is not the same thing. Defensive driving is a reiteration course. It teaches you how to drive defensively, not just how to drive. You can take it once a year, as long as it's 12 months apart - if it is the same thing.
-
I would say take the car until he completes the defensive driving course. It's $25 that he should pay out of pocket, and it will take the ticket off his record, help him think twice about when he speeds or does other reckless things while driving (I know it did me! I daily think about what I learned in my defensive driving…

If they don't log in for more than 3 weeks (I give a lot of leeway because I know I can disappear for a couple weeks at a time and come back with a fierceness - and 3 weeks is how long it takes to develop a habit), are annoying, get involved with tricky diets like hcg or just think exercise will solve all their bad eating…

When I know I'm going to be hungry or want to snack, I troll my Tumblr which is loaded with health and fitness inspiration pics... or I watch Biggest Loser.

Trust me. I've seen it. They don't fade with time. They fade based on weight loss. I've gained and lost a few times and that effects my stretch marks.

You look completely different, and you look wonderful. Keep up the great work!

That's great!

Tagalongs and Thin Mints. I LOVE Samoas but I can't justify the caramel and heavy chocolate... the thin mints and tagalongs are easy for me to ration out. Last year, my girl scout cookies lasted me like 7 months 'cause I kept forgetting about them, lol. Sorry, I won't ever say no to girl scouts.
